  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. 
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Alzheimer’s Care
*Prefer people who have experience*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Must have a reliable and safe vehicle

We are currently looking to add several Caring and Compassionate CAREGivers to a special team providing care to seniors in these areas: 

* Acworth * Cartersville * Marietta
* Alpharetta * Dallas * Milton
* Austell * Douglasville * Roswell
*Ball Ground * John's Creek * Smyrna
* Canton * Kennesaw * Woodstock, and other nearby areas
 

 
Typical schedules are built around 4 hour blocks, so shift options could be 4-hour to 8-hour shifts.  Whether you are seeking part-time or full-time hours, this is a great opportunity... So don't wait!

On Call Coordinator / Scheduler

Job Details

On Call Coordinator 
?Home Instead?®???? offers an individualized approach to keep seniors safe and sound at home, instead of anywhere else. Our team is currently looking for highly motivated individuals who will perform a variety of on-call duties.
Responsibilities:                                                                                                  

  • Review schedule with Service Coordinator and become aware of any potential trouble spots that might arise.
  • Answering each incoming call in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner and respond quickly to their needs. 
  • Fill all Client shifts following designated office scheduling processes. 
  • Communicate changes in Client Shifts to the Client(s) and CAREGiver(s). 
  • Contact backup person when questions arise about clients or CAREGivers that require input
  • Fill in on assignments that come open until a replacement CAREGiver is found
  • Communicate client and CAREGiver concerns or problems with owner or designated key player. 
  • Monitor and log both client and CAREGiver activity and follow up on CAREGiver assignments and client service in the operating system. 
  • Create a log of the activities of your shift and communicate that to the designate key player(s).
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary  
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers
  • Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are met and upheld
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must be able to operate office equipment 
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone 
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word, Outlook
  • You will use online collaboration tools to interact with customers and your co-workers. 
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required
