Paul and Sherry Dziuban, Franchise Owners of Home Instead Senior Care of North San Diego County, Southwest Riverside County and Honolulu have always had a passion for helping people. Part of this passion stemmed from Sherry visiting her grandfather in a nursing home which was an eye-opening experience.

While the deterioration of her grandfather's health required full-time care in a nursing home, many of the other residents of the center where her grandfather lived seemed out of place. They could easily have lived on their own - with just a little extra help.

Paul and Sherry vowed to help people like these avoid the confines of a nursing home. They found a way by opening a franchise of Home Instead Senior Care.

Sami joined the Home Instead family in April 2022 as the Client Care Coordinator. She was drawn to Home Instead Vista because of the positive reviews from Care Professionals and clients alike. In her role she guides client and potential clients down the right path to care, in addition to being the lead trainer for our Care Pro team. Prior to stepping into this role, Sami spent five years in the medical field working in skilled nursing facilities, with much of her time spent in the memory care department. It was her time in memory care that she fell in love with working with the elderly and being able to bring smiles to faces, and of course hearing their life stories from childhood to their golden years. An avid learner – always looking for ways to grow – Sami also enjoys travel, spending time outdoors, and quality time with family and friends.

Janette is the loving mama bear of the office – because taking care of others has always been her thing. She started out as a Care Professional in 2019, and just a year later joined the team as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. She is passionate about hiring, training, and encouraging our Care Pros. Prior to joining Home Instead Vista, Janette spent her time taking care of children as part the Marine Corp Community Services programs and then worked with special needs children at the school district. She understands firsthand the value of pouring into someone else no matter their age or their needs. When she is not actively recruiting new people to join our team, she is out exploring in her trailer with her husband and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Janette started as a Care Professional with Home Instead three years ago. Her grandmother had undergone a knee surgery and she was part of tending to her care. It was then Janette knew she enjoyed helping seniors and especially in a way that allowed them to be in their own home. Overtime, Janette wanted to do more to helps clients and Care Pros so she stepped into our On-Call Supervisor role serving as an extension of the office team helping us to provide service 24/7. In September 2022, Janette took on a bigger role as our Service Coordinator overseeing all aspects of client and Care Pro scheduling. A mom to two young girls, Janette is passionate about spending time with her little beauties, working out when she can, and the occasional scrapbook project.
