After spending 5 days in the hospital, Mom came home to adjust to new meds, regain her strength and adapt to the new normal. Home Instead quickly responded to our inquiry, provided consultation and caregivers for the difficult evening hours. The caregivers ALWAYS showed up!
Professional. Very high quality staff. Flexible and reliable. My father was aging and had terminal cancer. I lived out of state. Home Instead helped my father stay in his house longer - bridging the gap between independence and an in-patient care facility. Michael, Sherry, and Karissa were the best. After surgical repair of a broken hip my mother came home requiring way more care than we had anticipated, Home Instead was able to set up an overnight caregiver within just a few days. Being a home with multiple Covid vulnerable people it was important to us that our caregiver be fully vaccinated and wear a mask which Michael assured us was no problem and sent us Marla. Marla was sweet and caring and couldn’t possibly know how much she has been appreciated. She not only answered every need my mother had during the night but didn’t seem to mind when my father, who is a night owl, would wander in to visit. We will most definitely be using Home Instead again in the future if the need should arise.
Michael has been incredibly helpful in coordinating Companion Care on very short notice. He communicates clearly and quickly. All caregivers have been helpful and kind. We’ve enjoyed the opportunities to connect via video chat with our loved one thanks to their help. We feel thankful for their compassionate and competent care and would highly recommend them!
