We are hiring an Assistant Care Coordinator, who will support our Clients and Caregivers in and around Walla Walla and College Place.

This hybrid opportunity provides a career path for an experienced caregiver to gain administrative and marketing work experience, while doing what they love, caring for local seniors!

- Full time opportunity with starting wage: $19.50-21.50 (based upon certification and prior work experience).

Approx. 45 percent of the time providing direct care to local senior clients.
Approx. 40 percent of the time performing administrative tasks and functions related to WA State compliance, recruitment of, and supervision to, local Caregivers; and performing quality assurance visits with senior clients and Veterans.
Approx. 15 percent of the time performing marketing efforts and representing Home Instead to the local community and other senior related service providers.

Ideal candidate will have experience as a caregiver. Current CNA or HCA caregiver license is preferred but not required. Have a great personality and have a people-oriented attitude. Salary based on experience.

Additional Job Description
- Work collaboratively with a team to reach desired goals, while also able to work independently to complete job role.
- Enforce healthcare policies and procedures per WA State Department of Health standards for Home Care services.
- Provide direct care to clients such as but not limited to personal care, ADLs, cooking, cleaning, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, Zoom, and healthcare software applications.
- Oversee local recruiting in Walla Walla, training, and disciplinary actions when needed
- Review clients’ plans of cares, reporting back with adjustments and updates as needed.
- Build a network of referral sources within the local and surrounding Walla Walla community.
- Caring and Honest with a heart for service to others.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation to be able to attend meetings in Tri Cities when scheduled.
