Gadsden May 2021 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Laura F.
Meet Gadsden’s Professional CAREGiver of the Month for May, Laura F. Laura has been with Home Instead since 2020 and has made a difference in the lives of all her clients. She often picks up shift and extra clients, with a smile on her face. Her great attitude also puts smiles on the faces all her clients! One client in particular, Mallory, always smiles when she sees Laura. Laura was a cashier for several years before joining Home Instead. She knew she wanted to help people and initially thought about working at a nursing facility. She finally decided she wanted a more personal touch with her clients and found that in Home Instead.
Laura currently has a full-time client who is only 33 years old. Because of their similar ages, they hit it off from the start! They enjoy shopping, going to the movies, eating out and travelling together. Since the client has limited use of her arm, she truly appreciates Laura’s help. In her spare time, Laura enjoys attending church and going fishing with her dad. You may also find her at home watching “Friends” or taking her two children to “Taco Mamas” for some Mexican food.
Laura’s supervisor says, “Laura is so deserving of this award! She builds trust, takes the lead and shares her heart with every client she sees.” We are certainly glad we have Laura and hope she continues to “Share Her Heart” with her clients for many years to come!
