 Beverly Silver - Franchise Owner/Director

Beverly Silver, Franchise Owner/Director

Originally from Brooklyn, Beverly earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Binghamton University and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of law. Before purchasing the Home Instead Senior Care franchise, she worked as a sole practitioner in a law practice with an expertise in criminal law. 

Beverly has a hands-on approach and is dedicated to providing the best care possible for our seniors in Queens. She is committed to making Home Instead Senior Care the best place to work. She has a strong relationship with her CAREGivers and Clients and together with her caring and compassion and can do attitude; she has become a leader in the Homecare Industry.

Luisa Otero, Staffing Coordinator

​Luisa Otero brings her 25 years of Home Care experience to Home Instead. She is an expert in Client Relations and will take great care to match up your loved one with the perfect CAREGiver. Her solution based attitude along with her kindness and compassion will make your experience with Home Instead a positive one. In her personal life, Luisa is an Agent 4 Change and an advocate for Women’s Empowerment, specializing in Self-Worth in Relationships.

Mildred Johnson, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Mildred has been in this industry for over 20 years and has hands-on experience in CAREGiving and client care. Originally from the Philippines she earned a Degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree from Ottawa University in Kansas in Human Resource administration and Healthcare Management. As such she has first-hand knowledge of the challenges CAREGivers face. She understands the importance of having an effective and supportive team. Which can make a world of difference in the lives of CAREGivers and Clients alike.
Mildred worked for Home Instead in Kansas for 4 years prior to moving to New York and joining Home Instead in Queens. Mildred’s primary responsibilities include screening hiring and training CAREGivers and ensuring that the CAREGivers meet Home Instead’s high standards. She also engages with the CAREGivers with a goal of low CAREGiver turnover.
In her personal life Mildred is the mother of a teenager, and that is her most important job. Being a mother means the world to her.
Mildred has the heart for seniors and believes in and has been making a difference in Seniors lives.
