Shasta Roberts, Retention and Engagement Coordinator

Shasta joined the Home Instead Jasper team as a Care Professional in Spring 2021. Her care story began when she was enrolled in Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) in high school, then proceeding to work in nursing homes, the hospital, and then having experience as a recruiter. Her story continues in recent years, where she provided one on one care for her father, who battled dementia. From there, she gained compassion, respect, and as a Care Professional during the pandemic - she was able to support her father as a daughter. Watching first hand, she decided to share her heart towards clients through Home Instead. “I want to motivate, educate and be an example,” says Roberts. “As a Care Professional, I was able to endure the comfortable atmosphere the office has.” Today, she is on our office team as the Retention and Engagement Coordinator, leading future Care Professionals to feel the same way she felt. Her passions include baking, makeup, singing and always uplifting others. Her favorite quote by Albert Einstein is “With me, every peep becomes a trumpet solo.”

Connor Sanders Cropped 2

Connor Sanders, Client Services Coordinator

Connor joined the Home Instead team in October 2022. His path in healthcare began in Arkansas, working in the fall of 2018 in the long term care field. He then made a change to in-home care in the beginning of 2021, later on gaining experience as a care coordinator for a previous home care agency. In the fall of 2022, he and his family made the move to Indiana where he started as a Care Professional with Home Instead. He was very impressed with Home Instead Care Professional training and his interaction with the administrative staff. It was truly a work family he  wanted to be a part of. He has never before worked with a team who were so compassionate and empathetic.  Today, he serves as the Client Service Coordinator for the Jasper office - managing schedules for both clients and Care Professionals, and being a channel of communication for all the parties we serve. Connor states his passion in the field is “Having the ability to provide care to others in need is my drive. I have a very philanthropic heart, and I believe every positive change that can be made is so important regardless of how big or small.” Growing with Home Instead has helped him be a compassionate, empathetic and driven individual.
