We are looking for a passionate CareGiver (We call them CareProfessionals) to work with a remarkable veteran client in the Loogootee, IN area.

This great client is looking for someone to help with some reminders, assistance with personal care, some light cleaning and companionship.

CareProfessionals assist veteran clients with many activities from companionship, housekeeping, meal prep/planning, reminders, transportation and personal care. At Home Instead our CarePros help our clients to maintain dignity and respect and maintain their independence by being able to stay at home surrounded by the memories that make up a lifetime.

As a Care Professional, you will work with seniors in their homes to assist with their activities of daily living. Many older adults may need help with personal care or meal preparation. In the evening, you may help your client wind down for the day. You may help them cook dinner, clean up, and prepare for the next day's activities. Help your client maintain their safety and independence, while also creating a meaningful relationship.

We are specifically looking for individuals willing to work day shifts in Loogootee, Indiana. These shifts will require companionship services, assistance with personal care, and dementia support.

Requirements to be a Caregiver:

Have a passion for caring for others
Ability to assist clients in their home with activities of daily living
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
Must be willing to work at least one weekend shift every other week

Caregiver Duties:

Companionship and transportation
