Michael 2023

Michael Steinberg, Franchise Owner

Michael became involved with Home Instead after many years in retail and human resource management, and believes that high quality employees are the root of success for any business. He began his senior care career at Home Instead's Chicago, IL office, before saying goodbye to the Windy City in order to open his own Home Instead franchise in Wichita. Michael set about designing training, compensation and management systems that would make his Home Instead franchise second to none in quality in all of Sedgwick County. Michael spends much of his time in the community, actively working to change the face of aging in Wichita while promoting the Home Instead brand. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from National-Louis University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Texas in Austin. He is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).  In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, strength training, kayaking, astronomy, and miniature painting. 

Ewelina 2023

Ewelina Steinberg, Franchise Owner

Ewelina was raised by her grandparents in her native country of Poland, and their acts of kindness toward her throughout her childhood helped provide focus for her career later in life: a career dedicated to helping give back to the seniors in her community. She began her career with Home Instead in Chicago, IL, before opening her own office in Wichita.  In addition to administering her franchise, she now focuses on the future of the office and works on the business. After 12 years she still oversees operations and even manages our recycling program! In her spare time, she enjoys travel and water activities, nature and her 3 dogs, music and art. Ewelina holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from National-Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from Dominican University, both in Chicago, Illinois.

Kara 2023

Kara Tipton, General Manager

As General Manager, Kara’s focus is on client services, business development, the Care Professional experience, and community outreach. She started her journey with Home Instead as the Home Care Consultant and created relationships in the community to ensure seniors knew about the option of in home care. Her passion for helping people and leadership skills came from her 11 years in retail management with Bath and Body Works. She also graduated from Fort Hays State University (Go Tigers!) with degrees in English Literature and Communication Studies. In her free time, Kara enjoys working out, cooking, canning, spending time outside, spending time with her 2 littles (and watching her son in sports!), and cheering on the Jayhawks and Chiefs!

Amer 2023

Amer Rashid, Home Care Consultant

Amer started his career with Home Instead as the Recruitment Coordinator and moved into the Home Care Consultant in June of 2022. As the Home Care Consultant, Amer builds relationships with our community partners with a “how can we help” mantra and ensures seniors know about the option of home care. He also does in home consultations with families and potential clients. Amer's passion for helping people came from him working 10 years in retail management and family-owned business. He did flight school training and business administration courses from his native country Jordan and Butler Community College. In his free time, Amer enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.

Taylor 2023

Taylor Davidson, Client Care Coordinator

As Client Care Coordinator, Taylor provides ongoing customer service and support to the seniors we serve to ensure a quality service for every client to remain in their home and as independent as possible. Taylor has a passion for helping others, and her experience with helping her grandparents and other relatives lead her to Home Instead. She began her career as a Care Professional for two years and then joined the office team. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with family, listening to music (mainly Stevie Nicks), creative writing, and spending time outdoors.

Nicole 2023

Nicole Sanchez, Client Care Manager

As Client Care Manager, Nicole oversees ongoing customer service and support to the seniors we serve. She does initial consultations with families and prospective clients, facilitates quality assurance visits, and completes reassessments for clients who have needs who changed after a rehab or hospital visit. Nicole graduated from WSU with her Education Degree. After teaching 1st and 2nd grade, she transitioned to the aircraft industry, where she worked for 25 years in multiple roles. In 2021, she felt the need to have a career focused on helping the senior population. She loves building relationships with our clients (and their families) and helping those in need of care. In her spare time, Nicole loves to travel, be outdoors (camping, boating, swimming, walking), read, garden, and volunteer!

Kori 2023

Kori Armbruster, Office Coordinator

Kori started her career with Home Instead as Care Professional, before coming into the office. She started as the office coordinator and has recently started her journey as the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. In this role, Kori recruits, interviews, trains, and provides ongoing training and supervision to Care Professionals to ensure they are provided with all the necessary tools to be successful with their clients. She oversees organizing Care Professional meetings and birthday/anniversary celebrations, along with any additional support they may need. Kori has a background in special education, case management and advocacy for children with special needs. Kori thrives on time spent with her family in her off time. She also enjoys reading, photography, crafting and revitalizing furniture, listening to good music and taking care of the family’s 3 dogs, Rabbit, and 2 birds.

Michaelie Holly 2023

Michaelie Holly, Service Coordinator

Michaelie started her career at Home Instead as a Care Professional and transitioned in June of 2023 to her new office role as our Service Coordinator. As a Service Coordinator, Michaelie matches clients with their care professionals, taking into account availability, skill, and personality. Michaelie is a devoted music fan with skills in flute, piano, and vocal performance. She holds an avid interest in fitness, providing assistance to others, and contributing to a better world. She is committed to merging professional knowledge and personal passions in all her endeavors.

Bretta Stark 2023

Bretta Stark, Office Coordinator

Bretta Stark is a compassionate and dedicated office coordinator at Home Instead, where she provides vital support through a variety of administrative duties. With a diverse background in office management, marketing, child education, and event planning, Bretta brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to her role.

Prior to joining Home Instead, Bretta worked with the nonprofit organization Empowered Seniors, where she gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by seniors. This firsthand experience has fueled her passion for serving older adults and making a positive impact in their lives.

Outside of her professional commitments, Bretta enjoys the thrill of exploring new places and trying new foods. She also finds joy in making crafts and cherishes quality time spent with loved ones. These personal experiences fuel her desire for personal and professional growth and emphasize her commitment to serving others.

With her compassionate nature, Bretta strives to make a positive impact and bring joy to those she encounters, both through her work with seniors and in her daily interactions with colleagues and clients. Her dedication to serving others, coupled with her diverse skill set, makes her a valuable asset to the Home Instead team.
