Senior Resource Spotlight Senior Link in Anderson, IN

Our team at Home Instead is always on the lookout for local resources so that seniors in our community have access to the support they need. This time, we are featuring Senior Link—a program by the Anderson Police Department dedicated to identifying and meeting the needs of seniors without family or social support systems in Anderson, IN.

The Anderson Police Department's Senior Link program takes a proactive approach, engaging in weekly phone calls and/or in-home visits to assess the needs of participating seniors. The goal is to address a range of concerns, including social services, home security, living conditions, groceries, transportation, and more.

The assessments identify areas where seniors may require additional support. Once they know where the senior needs additional help, the Anderson Police Department takes the initiative to make appropriate referrals to outside agencies.

If you or someone you know could benefit from the Senior Link program, call 765-648-6712 to schedule an in-home assessment and learn more about how Senior Link can tailor its support to meet individual needs.

As we continue to strive to provide the best home care in Anderson, IN, we will continue to spotlight organizations like Senior Link that provide extra support for local seniors. Together, we strive to empower seniors with the resources they need to make informed decisions so they can live and age safely and comfortably in their own homes.
