October 2023 Rookie of the Month - Thomas G.
Thomas Grasha is a poet who works in text, sound, and visual media. He was born and raised in California until the age of sixteen, since then he has lived in many places, the longest amount of time in Houston, TX. An avid reader of philosophy and theology, especially mystics and ancient theologians, he spent a period of time working as secretary for and studying under the philosopher and semiotician Dr. John Deely, he has also worked with the international orchid judge and horticulturalist Fr. Ted Baenziger CSB growing prize winning orchids. Upon moving to Arkansas to assist his aging parents he wanted to find work helping those in need and began working as a PCA with Home Instead. He is a catechist certified in the Diocese of Little Rock and serves as sacristan in the parish of St. Leo Catholic Church in Hartford.
