November 2021 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Bonnie T.

Alright, Bonnie! Congratulations for being our CAREGiver of the Month for November! Bonnie goes above and beyond for her clients and is very intuitive about what their needs are before they even know they have a need. Read on to find out a little bit more about Bonnie!

Where were you born?  I was born in Detroit, Michigan.

Where did you grow up? I moved to Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 9.

How long have you worked at HISC?  I have worked at Home Instead just over a year.

What’s your favorite part of caregiving? My favorite part of caregiving is the wonderful smiles I get for helping people!

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My interests include grandbabies, football, crocheting and cooking.

So, Bonnie shared very little to put in the newsletter, but because of, “to us, it’s personal” and all the questions we ask when someone is hired, we have a little more to tell you about this wonderful lady.

Bonnie’s husbands name is George and together they have five children and eleven grandchildren. When she was asked what she likes to do in her free time she answered, “What’s free time? I have 11 grandkids”. She has accomplished getting her CNA license, made a 4.0 GPA in college, worked at a convenience store and also in nursing homes. She really feels she would like to live further up North, but we’re grateful her family keeps her in Arkansas. She enjoys a variety of music from jazz, to old R&B and gospel. She also likes to read, but that’s harder to do with 11 grandkids. Bonnie and her husband have a dream of making it to every state in the United States when they retire. That will be amazing BUT for now, we are thankful she is working and representing Home Instead in a personal, caring way and making clients feel loved, safe and respected. Congrats, Bonnie; keep up the good work and God Bless!
