March 2022 Care Professional of the Month - Crystal M.
We’d like to congratulate Crystal Martin for being our Care Professional of the Month for March! Crystal is a hard worker and cheerful in doing so. She would be the Snow White of caregiving because she would personify the song of “Whistle While You Work”! She’s never found a caregiving challenge she couldn’t conquer and does it so calmly regardless of circumstances. Read on to learn a little more about her.
Where were you born? I was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Huntsville, Arkansas.
How long have you worked at HISC? I’ve been with Home Instead almost 5 years now.
What’s your favorite part of caregiving? My favorite part of caregiving is that I get to take care of other people and learn interesting things about them and about the history they went through.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. As for me, I just love to do my job and taking care of my grandkids. Crystal is the mother to two children, Carl Martin, Jr. and Mallary Martin. She says her family means everything to her. She’s also an immensely proud grandmother. Crystal currently has eight grandkids ranging in age from twelve to one-year old but has grandbaby number nine on the way. She loves all kinds of foods, music, stores, and such. She enjoys doing crafts which must come in handy with all the grandkids. Crystal truly is all about her family. She lives with her grandma and aunt. As if she’s not busy enough, they have three dogs and two cats to spoil and care for.
Crystal is one of our Care Professional Ambassadors and does an excellent job training newly hired Care Professionals. Thank you, Crystal, for the many ways you work and serve here at Home Instead. You’re top notch to us. Congrats again and God bless!
