Frankfort July 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - George P. & Ladon W.
Meet George and his Professional CAREGiver, Ladon, Frankfort’s Client and Professional CAREGiver Spotlight team for July! George is a US Marines veteran who was also a social worker for the VA before retirement. George now lives on a farm. His leg was previously injured in a tractor accident, so he needs some help getting around. Ladon did factory work before coming to Home Instead. She had always dreamed of being a nurse and this was a natural move for her to get into caregiving. Ladon is a caregiver at home also, where she has two girls and two boys all under the age of six!
Ladon provides companionship to Mr. George. You may find the pair watching some of Mr. George’s favorite shows, which include NCIS, Blue Blood or Chicago PD. They will all eat together on the days his son brings over food. Ladon says she loves to make George smile and she listens intently to his stories. Mr. George is looking forward to a trip to Florida with his family soon and Ladon says she will miss him while he is gone. We are happy Ladon and Mr. George “Share Their Hearts” together for a long time to come!
