Frankfort July 2021 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Jan K.
Meet Jan, the July Professional CAREGiver of the Month for Frankfort! Jan was a pharmacy technician from Oregon Her children came to school in KY, so Jan came to be close to her 10 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids. She has been with Home Instead for six years now, and says she has a love for older people. She genuinely loves to hear their stories. She currently has one 98-year-old client whom she loves.
When she is not working, you will find her homeschooling some of her grandkids while the parents’ work. She is also very involved with her church. She loves cooking shows and eating at Mexican or Chinese restaurants. Jan says the older generations have a lot to teach us and we should sit down and listen. Jan’s supervisor says, “Jan is very reliable and dependable. Her clients love her. She is always on time and has a heart of gold”. We are very fortunate to have Jan on our team and we hope she continues to be there for our clients to listen to their stories and let them know how important they are!
