Frankfort April 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - Joe C. & Tim P.
Meet Frankfort’s April Client and Professional CAREGiver℠ spotlight team of Tim and his caregiver Joe. Tim is originally from Arizona but moved to Kentucky in 2019 to be closer to his mother, sister and brother. He spent 7 ½ years in the Army prior to moving. He relates to his caregiver, Joe, who is a retired EMT from New York. Joe also moved here in 2019 in order to be closer to friends. He has always enjoyed working with elderly and disabled patients.
Tim came to Joe via a recommendation from one of Tim’s previous clients, and they could not be a better match! They both love to fish, and go about 2 times per week, when weather allows. They particularly like the game reserve in Frankfort, KY or the Kentucky River. While they are out, they will usually make a pit stop at Taco Bell to get some lunch. They have a daily routine of cleaning, strength training and then hitting the town! Tim does not like to stay home, so Joe makes sure to get him out as much as possible.
When asked about his caregiver, Tim says “Tim understands me”. Tim’s family agrees, as they all have a good relationship with Joe and communicate with him regularly. We love to see a team like this because it displays what we strive to do in our community. Tim and Joe Share Their Hearts and truly have a bond that will last a lifetime!
