Todd & Lizzie O'Neill, Franchise Owners

Todd & Lizzie O'Neill, Owners

Todd and Lizzie O’Neill purchased the Home Instead franchise in January 2015. The O’Neill’s have three daughters who were all born in Bremerton where Todd worked in a local family furniture business for ten years post college. In 1996 the O’Neill’s felt led to pursue work with a non-profit youth outreach ministry, Young Life. After 19 years with Young Life in Enumclaw and Bellevue Washington, the O’Neill’s explored new business opportunities and found Home Instead. Serving people is very rewarding and they have built a great team at Home Instead. You will often hear Todd say, “our clients come first!” And they do. Todd and Lizzie also enjoy time with their three grandsons.
Barbara Seiber, Client Care Coordinator - North

Barbara Seiber, Gerontologist, Operations Manager

​Barbara first came to Home Instead in New York and then Virginia. She's had experience as a CAREGiver and has a huge heart for seniors and their families. She joined our team in Kitsap County in 2007 and is a tremendous asset. Barbara is our Client Care Coordinator in the north end, and does a wonderful job supporting our CAREGivers and clients. She desires to see more seniors well cared for throughout the Kitsap Peninsula.
Rachel Bauer, Client Care Coordinator - South

Rachel Bauer, Client Care Coordinator

Rachel is a former mid-westerner: born and raised on a farm in Ohio. Rachel graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BA in Sociology/Social Work. She has been married for 30 years to her amazing husband, Jerry. They are the proud parents of a son, Alex, and his wife, Hayley, and daughter, Whitney. Rachel enjoys running and doing HIIT workouts with her daughter. She also loves getting coffee with friends, jet-skiing, wake-surfing, fluffy snow, taking hikes, listening to audio books, watching movies and gathering with her church family to worship and praise Jesus! Rachel is passionate about caring for and learning from the seniors we serve. She is energized by team participation and feels blessed to be a part of the Home Instead team.
Katie T

Katie Thompson, BSN, RN, Client Care Coordinator

Katie Thompson comes to us with her BSN, RN degree from Washington State School of Nursing. Katie has worked as an RN at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Oncology Clinic at the University of Alabama Birmingham. She recently moved back to the northwest in 2020 with her husband Andy and two boys, Everett (3) and Oliver (1). She enjoys being a wife and a mom. In her spare time, she finds joy in painting. Katie has a passion for seniors and loves serving families in her role as Client Care Coordinator.
Seagull T

Seagull Taylor, Client Care Coordinator

Seagull is a military spouse for over 20 years. She has lived in many different places such as Hawaii, Japan and Vietnam and met people from all over the world. Seagull raised her children and then, when able to work, she became a Nursing Assistant. After her children graduated high school, she came back to Bremerton, and that is when she found Home Instead and became a CAREGiver in 2018. Seagull was recently promoted to work in the office as a Client Care Coordinator. She enjoys working with the elderly and this is shown through her dedication to serve others in her work and community. Often, she is heard saying, “I love our clients and CAREGiver’s.”
Amy S

Amy O'Shaughnessy, Service Coordinator

Amy is new to the care industry and comes to us from the nonprofit world. She was born and raised in Kitsap County. She is a lover of the outdoors and prefers to be around a bonfire, rather than watching TV. Most days you can find Amy tending to her large garden and chickens. Her hobbies include painting with acrylics, singing, and playing the guitar. She writes music and stories. Amy does an amazing job scheduling, working her magic to place CAREGiver’s with the best fit for our clients.
Alyssa S

Alyssa Siebert, Client Care Coordinator

Alyssa was born in Germany and has lived in many places. Her dad served in the Air Force. She settled in Puyallup, Washington, where she enjoys photography, running and training for half marathons. Alyssa has been working with seniors since 2011, starting as a server in a Retirement Community as her first job. This began her love for seniors and caring for them. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with a minor in American Sign Language. Her love for Seniors never diminished which led her back to working directly in a Retirement Community as an administrative assistant. Alyssa joined our team at Home Instead in 2020 and loves working every moment.
Alysha Poteet, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Alysha Poteet, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Alysha has been on the Home Instead team since March 2017. She previously worked in Human Resources at a large homeless shelter in San Diego, California before moving to Bremerton. She has a passion for helping and building relationships with people of all ages and from all walks of life. Alysha spends her free time exploring the outdoors and being active with her two young children and senior dog.
Tricia Gaines, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Tricia Gaines-Holley, Recruiter, Engagement & Hospitality Coordinator

Tricia is a Washington State native who likes to spend time with her husband and adult daughter playing video games. She also creates and sells beautiful homemade candles. Tricia started her career at Home Instead in the Spring of 2017. Previously, Tricia worked as a Certified Medical Assistant in Seattle for 18 years before coming on board as our Service Coordinator for three years, now is on our lead Recruitment and Engagement Team. Tricia is likely the first person you will see when walking into our office. Her smile
and greeting makes all who enter feel welcomed. She loves our CAREGiver’s and wants them to excel at being their best. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve and grow with Home Instead as she says, “I enjoy every moment of it.”
Tami Seholm, Office Coordinator

Tami Seaholm, Office Coordinator

Tami comes to Home Instead from Bellingham, Washington. She has three wonderful children and six amazing grandchildren. She worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center for 16 years as a CNA/Office Coordinator. Tami moved to Sequim, Washington in 2014 where she spent her time helping a family member. She worked for the Sequim Home Instead Office for two years as a CNA before relocating to Port Orchard and transferring to the Bremerton Home Instead Office as the Office Coordinator. Tami loves serving the elderly and has been involved in this line of work for 25 years.
Lorena Hernandez-Sarabia, RN, MHP,  Training Coordinator

Lorena Hernandez, RN, Training Coordinator

Lorena Hernandez is a Registered Nurse who worked full time at Kitsap Mental Health for six years. With a heart to serve others, Lorena came to Home Instead as a part-time CAREGiver to provide care to another vulnerable population in our community. In accepting the position as our franchise office Training Coordinator in 2018, she strives to teach new and experienced CAREGivers the importance of providing a caring and safe environment for our clients. Lorena provides an empathetic heart and listening ear to our staff. She teaches with the desire to spread love for our older generation through our CAREGivers.
Denise Atkins, Home Care Consultant

Denise Atkins, Home Care Consultant

Denise joined the Kitsap Home Instead team in 2018. Her role as our Home Care Consultant allows her to keep our business connected to Health Care Providers and the surrounding community that serve our seniors. Denise enjoys participating in several networking groups, healthcare provider meetings, and being involved in senior center activities throughout our territory. Strengthening relationships with key healthcare providers is crucial to serving the seniors of our community and ensuring their safety and well-being as they age. Denise has always had a heart for seniors as she lived with and cared for her Grandfather for several years. Denise has been married for 27 years to her husband Todd and has 2 children - Jake (22) and Kayla (20). In her free time Denise enjoys jogging, baking, hiking, camping, and
spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
