Last week Home Instead of Gastonia, NC partnered with Handel's Homemade Ice Cream to raise funds for the fight against Alzheimer's. On the Longest Day of the Year, June 21st, our Home Instead team organized an ice cream event where a portion of the proceeds made between 11 am and 10 pm were generously donated to support the Alzheimer's Association. The turnout was incredible, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came out to show their support.
The event was a true collaboration between our team at Home Instead and the kind workers at Handel's Homemade Ice Cream. Together, we worked towards making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's disease. The generosity and enthusiasm displayed by the Handel's team and all those who attended the event truly exemplify the spirit of our community in Gastonia. With their support, we were able to raise funds and awareness to further the vital work of the Alzheimer's Association.
