Christine & Joe DeLauter, Franchise Owners

We became the new co-owners of Home Instead in January of 2022 after purchasing the business from Joe’s parents who opened the doors in the summer of 2005. Joe joined his parents in the very beginning, learning every aspect of the home care business and learning each role along the way and then became a co-owner in 2012.

Joe graduated from Penn State University in 1996 and was the superintendent of a private country club in Connecticut before joining the team in 2005.  He’s worn all the hats at Home Instead and today he especially enjoys taking service inquiries and meeting all the new families when they are signing up for home care.

Christine is also a graduate of Penn State University in 1994 and brings over two decades of service management experience and joined the family business in 2014.  Christine oversees all daily operations and supports the entire team.

Together we tell our team “We want to be a resource for seniors and the families we work with and prescribe a professional solution so they or their loved one(s) can remain at home for as long as possible”.  And our daily mission is to honor God in all that we do and being the trusted leaders providing quality care with heart in your home.

Tricia Dreese 2023

Tricia Dreese, Home Care Sales Manager

Tricia is responsible for managing the sales process associated with guiding seniors and their loved ones for care at home which includes the initial assessment to create a customized and personal care plan.  She also travels throughout our service area meeting with our referral partners to build and establish new relationships promoting the value of Home Instead for our seniors.  If you need a speaker at your next group meeting related to home care or senior care topics, feel free to contact her.

Lissacca Goff, Service Coordinator

Lissacca is responsible for our client and CAREGiver scheduling and she is our "match maker" finding the best relationship resulting in quality service. She provides accurate client information with new CAREGiver assignments. She enjoys family time attending her kids sporting events and she's been a member of our team since January 2019.

Michelle Watts, Client Care, HR & Finance Manager

Michelle is responsible for all Client Care coordination and meets the client and their family when services are getting started. In addition, she administers all client billing and employee payroll along with all other aspects related to human resources relating to unemployment, workers compensation claims, employment verification and references. She also addresses CAREGiver and Client concerns on a daily basis and other general administrative support. She enjoys traveling on her off time and she's been a member of our team since 2011.

Recruitment Coordinator

The Home Instead Recruitment Coordinator takes pride in identifying compassionate individuals who will provide essential support and companionship to seniors in the comfort of their homes. They diligently seeks out caregivers with a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors through personalized care. The Home Instead recruiter understands the unique qualities required for caregiving roles and employs a thoughtful approach in selecting candidates who not only possess the necessary skills but also embody empathy and respect. With their expertise, we ensure that each caregiver hired is not just an employee but a valued companion for the seniors they serve.

Beverly Wert, Community Development Coordinator

Beverly is instrumental in carrying out Home Instead's mission to educate the community on Elder Care topics and issues! Beverly is also instrumental to the onboarding and training of all newly hired Care Pros and giving them the knowledge of our multi-phase training program of our Care Pros. She provides free training and educational workshops to various groups in the community to help family CAREGiver’s and staff at local business' understand senior issues and the changes accompanied with aging, ie: physical, social, emotional and safety issues. “Knowledge equals confidence and our goal is to provide the best information and tools to provide outstanding service to seniors”. Bev is an essential resource in our mission to be the Susquehanna Valley’s #1 provider and most trusted resource of home care for seniors.

Margo, Home Instead Puppy

Margo came to Home Instead in May 2020. She is a graduate of the “Paws-itively Obedient” school in Watsontown. Margo is named after one of the characters from the movie “Christmas Vacation” and she loves greeting all visitors to our office with joy.
