Meet Our Home Care Team

Chuck Coker LCSW, MBA - Owner

Chuck Coker LCSW, MBA, Owner

Chuck is a Valdosta native who earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Florida State University and a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. He has 28 years of business ownership experience and over 8 years' experience as a licensed therapist working in the fields of addiction and family therapy. Through his experience as a therapist, he acquired a passion to assist seniors and their families as they enter a new phase of their lives in which they needed some assistance in daily living. Accomplishing this with compassion while helping our clients maintain independence and dignity is the focus of the work Chuck and his team of over 80 Caregivers and support staff do.

Chuck is also a Certified Equine Therapist who enjoys utilizing horses as they assist humans in "self-discovery".

Judy Hesters - Home Care Consultant

Judy Hesters, Home Care Consultant

After retiring from a 25-year career which included community based social services, economic development and higher education, Judy re-entered the workforce as an Assistant Director for a local Retirement Community and later worked as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for an Elder Law Attorney. In January 2017, all of her career paths lead to Home Instead Senior Care.

Over the last few years, she became increasingly aware of how important it is for older adults and their family members to make informed decisions about the continuum of health services designed to meet the diverse care needs of older adults. Judy's passion for serving older adults gives her the opportunity to deepen her understanding of others and see people for who they are rather than just another customer.

I am blessed every day to connect with families and assist with improving the quality of life for their loved one".

Pamela Jackson - Service Coordinator

Pamela Jackson, Service Coordinator

Pamela joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in January of 2016. She has been a private caregiver in the past and has also had her own Personal Care Home! She enjoys meeting with clients and CAREGivers. Pamela likes building relationships with CAREGivers because they share the mutual interest of caring for the aging adults in our community. It is her calling and her desire to assist the elderly, whether it is just a need for companionship and a friendly face or just requires someone that doesn't mind lending a helping hand. She discovered that working with seniors was her passion at the age of 15 when she held her first summer job working at a senior center. Pamela has one daughter and finds great joy in her role as a mother. She also enjoys traveling, and attending motivational social events. She is a great listener and loves to give positive advice to others. Her positive outlook allows her to live, laugh and love life to the fullest.

Nell Dominey - Recruitment  and Engagement Coordinator

Nell Dominey, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Nell started working with Home Instead Senior Care in May 2014 when she wanted to make a change in jobs where she could interact with a greater number of people and help them in different ways in their lives. She previously worked in an administrative office position for 15 years. She has always been involved in church and is very involved in small group activities. She has been blessed with 3 children and 6 grandchildren and enjoys spending time supporting all of their extra curricula activities. She has an identical twin sister and spends lots of her leisure time with family and traveling.

Kelly Gibbs - Office Coordinator

Kelly Gibbs, Office Coordinator

Kelly was born and raised in Valdosta, GA and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications from Valdosta State in 2014. She began working with Home Instead in February of 2020. She came to Home Instead because she has always had a passion for the senior community and a heart for the elderly. She is happiest when she is spending time with her husband and children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach which is definitely her happy place. She always strives to live life to the fullest and is so grateful to be part of such an amazing team!

Hayley Pinkerton – Community Care Consultant

Hayley Pinkerton, Community Care Consultant

Hayley is a Valdosta State University Alumni where she earned her Bachelors in Business Administration Management with a minor focus in Healthcare Administration. Since her graduation in 2017, she has gained experience in an outside sales and marketing position where she promoted services for patient's prescription needs. Hayley learned at a young age that she had a passion for helping the elderly, which is what drew her to move to Home Instead where she thinks she can truly make a difference in senior's lives and the families surrounding those seniors. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, staying active and has two dogs that are her pride and joys – Duke and Mojo.

Leslie Belanger - RN, Director of Personal Care

Leslie Belanger, RN, Director of Personal Care

Leslie joined the Home Instead team in April 2018. She received her nursing degree from Darton College in Albany, Ga. She has been a practicing nurse for 22 years. Leslie began her career in women’s health and was recently an OR nurse manager. She values the clients and their family members, and enjoys getting to know them personally. She feels honored that she and the Home Instead team can assist the clients and their loved ones, by helping navigate a new phase of their lives. She knows how important a compassionate, understanding ear can be to a client. Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband and her two boys.
