Home Instead of Kansas City, MO makes it our goal to provide the highest quality home care in Kansas City, MO and that means being attentive to our local seniors and providing the best local resources we can. We believe that the Northland Shepherd's Center Meals on Wheels program is one of those valuable community resources for seniors in need.

About Northland Shepherd's Center Meals on Wheels:

Northland Meals on Wheels’ purpose is to supply meals at or near cost to the homebound, over the age of 60, in southern Clay County, who are unable, because of sickness, age, or other handicap to provide proper nutrition for themselves. The cost for daily meals is $4.00.

Their trained, screened volunteers deliver nutritious mid-day meals Monday through Friday, with frozen meals available for the weekend. Along with the regular meals, they also have vegetarian, renal, mechanical soft, and pureed menu options.
