Meet Benjamin and Jennifer Marchi, franchise owners of the Mid-Eastern Shore office, purchasing the family owned business in 2012. Jennifer received an Undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech. Benjamin previously worked in politics and government affairs. Their goal is to provide their clients with the highest level of care possible and to also provide their caregivers with the support and training tools necessary to be the leader in this industry. When they are not in the office, they are chasing after their two small boys!

Jane Bateman,  Client Care Manager

Jane Bateman, Client Care Manager


Jane has been enjoying her position as Client Care Manager since 2012. In her position, she meets with families, gathering information about our new clients to ensure our CAREGivers are successful in the home. Jane also provides assistance to families, making referrals for resources like home health or hospice. With a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration, Jane has obtained the skills needed in today's ever-changing healthcare setting. Information about Alzheimer's and other dementias is a strong asset of hers, providing education to the community and our CAREGivers. Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as a variety of hobbies in her free time.

Tissier Moaney,  Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

Tissier Moaney, Retention Coordinator


Tissier or (Tee) is a strong support system for our office as the Retention Coordinator! She is responsible for retention, including ongoing training and employee development. Tee loved the caring nature of the company which made her want to be a part of the Home Instead family. Tee enjoys reading, traveling, movies and spending time with family, especially her daughter!

Barbie Andaluz,  Home Care Consultant

Barbie Andaluz, Home Care Consultant


Barbie is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships and new opportunities for Home Instead through sales & marketing initiatives here on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Barbie has a passion for senior care and understands the value and importance of effectively caring for our aging population. She also recognizes the increasing needs within this vulnerable sector and the stress that it causes them and their families. This knowledge helps Barbie effectively relay Home Instead's services, their value and the importance of home care within our service communities and beyond. When she's not out in the Senior Home Care community, you can find Barbie spending time with her 3 children, cooking and traveling.

Terri Dye,  Staffing Coordinator

Terri Dye, Staffing Coordinator


Terri has been a part of the Home Instead family as a Staffing Coordinator since 2013! Terri herself has been a caregiver for over 30 years, so her experience is vast! She is able to apply her experiences of caregiving to finding the right match for our clients. In her spare time, Terri loves spending time with her two children and three grandchildren. She also loves to cook and bake and keeps the office well fed!

Joanna Cornish,  Administrative Assistant

Joanna Cornish, Scheduling Coordinator


Joanna has been part of the Home Instead family since 2015 and we're happy to announce that she has taken the role as a Scheduling Coordinator in our office! Her role is to assist with managing CAREGiver schedules and time-off requests. She enjoys this because it varies from day to day. Joanna started caregiving with family and friends and grew the passion to continue working with others. She has two beautiful teenage daughters that keep her very busy.

Carole Stockhausen,  Staffing Coordinator

Carole Stockhausen, Billing Specialist


Carole began working for Home Instead Senior Care in 2011 as a Staffing Coordinator. Now, as our Billing Specialist, she manages the billing by updating client information, generating invoices and processing payments. She also follows up on long term insurance claims, payments, and requests for more information. Carole’s flexibility and vast knowledge of the senior care industry allows her to also help out in other departments as needed – covering the phones, staffing and other essential administrative tasks. Caring for her parents and previously having been a nanny helped foster her desire to help others. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her 5 children and 7 grandchildren.

Carol Meredith,  Delegating R.N.

Carol Meredith, Delegating R.N.

Carol has been the nurse for Talbot, Dorchester and Caroline counties supervising the CAREGivers who provide personal care in those counties since 2013. Carol does the initial assessment for the new clients and the 90-day reviews. She is a wealth of knowledge and trains all of our new CAREGivers during their initial orientation and throughout their caregiving career at Home Instead. Carol has many years experience in home care.

Linda Houchens

Linda Houchens, Delegating R.N.

Linda is an experienced Registered Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. She is the Delegating Nurse for Queen Anne’s and Kent counties and supervises the CAREGivers who provide personal care in those counties. Carol does the initial assessment for the new clients and the 90-day reviews. Linda also teaches the CAN/GNA students at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD and we’re so happy to have her on our team!

Our compassionate CAREGivers are residents of the Eastern Shore and are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training program. We place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well-being and support the senior's needs with respect and dignity.
