Meet Our Team

Brian Trainor, Owner

Brian Trainor, Owner

Brian Trainor is a lifelong resident of Westchester County. He founded the Home Instead Senior Care office in White Plains, NY in June of 2004 to meet the growing need for eldercare services in the Westchester County area. Brian understood that the proven Home Instead Senior Care model was the best way to provide dependable, trusted senior home care. He believes in customizing senior home care that is tailored to meet the unique needs of each and every client, and remains dedicated to building strong and trusting relationships.

Home Instead's success enabled him to expand his service area to include all of Putnam County and lower Dutchess County. Brian and his caring team understand the foundation of their success is the strong, personal relationships they build with each care receiver and their families and friends. Together, the team possess a heartfelt desire to work with families in our communities to help seniors lead safe and fulfilling lives in their homes.

Siobhan Regan, RN, Director of Patient Services

Siobhan Regan RN joined the Home Instead Family as Director of Patient Services in September of 2018. Mrs. Regan performs clinical assessments and oversees the clinical staff to ensure the best care possible for our clients. She also oversees the daily operations of the office.

Mrs. Regan has an extensive nursing background which includes 35+ years of nursing experience including ICU, med/surg, ambulatory surgery & obstetrics/gynecology. Over 25 years of her nursing experience has been in the home care industry: specifically in Licensed Home Care, Assisted Living, Medical & Social Model Day Care, Private & Medicaid Care Management. She also has experience coordinating care with Certified Home Health Agencies & Hospice Programs. Her extensive knowledge allows her to assist our clients to navigate the complexities of home care.

Early in her career, Mrs. Regan had the opportunity to work for an obstetrician. It’s remarkable that the connections she built within the community have crossed the life span and have come full circle evidenced by the care she now provides to the grandparents of the children she served prior. Mrs. Regan enjoys the sense of community nursing she has provided throughout the years. During her spare time, Siobhan enjoys the theater & reading.

Mrs. Regan continues to enhance the lives of our clients daily and we are glad to have her as a part of the Home Instead Family.

Angela Halstead, Coordinator/Office Manager

Angela has been an integral part of Home Instead since 2006. Her training in Special Education and previous work as a live-in Resident Manager for teenagers and adults have provided her with empathy to care for our elderly population.

A caretaker at heart, she has brought to Home Instead a commitment to playing a role in ensuring that the aging population can remain safe and taken care of in their homes.

As a Staff Coordinator, Angela handles the placement of CAREGivers into the homes of our clients, as well as the supervision of our CAREGivers. Angela also handles administrative tasks for the office including timely submission of paperwork for long term care insurance policies.

In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, reading and the movies. We are appreciative of Angela’s many years of service and dedication to Home Instead.
