Courtney and Amanda , our care pros, are fantastic. They are so patient and tolerant. They meet all needs with compassion and positive attitudes. We love them coming in to our home to help us out. They both are a joy to have around
We were looking for a competent home care provider. After much research, we decided to go with Home Instead. That proved to be the best decision we could have made.
Dana visited us right away, and she answered all our questions. She gave us security that we would be in good hands. She was right!
Their service is excellent and their communication is stellar. You don't have to wait on hold for long periods of time. Usually you get to talk to someone within a minute, if not sooner. They are quick to problem solve, and they always show respect and concern for clients and their families. They even bring little gifts to their clients' homes on holidays or special occasions. What a nice touch to be remembered and appreciated!
The caregivers are the best we've seen. They arrive on time and prepared to make my loved one's day active and engaging. Two of our favorite caregivers are Rebecca and Cheryl. Rebecca cooks, cleans, bakes and brings satisfying conversation and joy to my mom. She decorates the house for holidays and my mom just loves that. Cheryl is wonderful, too. She is flexible and she does what we ask without hesitation and to the best of her ability. She works hard to make my mom's day easier.
I also want to give kudos to Tracie, their nurse. She visits my mom on short notice and she's friendly and generous with her knowledge.
Last but not least, the girls in the scheduling department, Jennifer and Mindy, are always available and reliable to make quick changes to schedules or caregivers. I'm so happy to be a part of this company, one of the few who really do care about people.

The quality of the caregivers at Home Instead are exceptional as well as the management. They really get how important their work is as quality caregivers and we see the effect it has had on my Mom’s life.
Tammy W. is a very caring and compassionate care-pro. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients and the clients' family are given the best care possible. Home Instead has allowed my Mom to stay in her home. Their level of care and compassion has been incredible. Cheryl is particularly kind and caring. She and Mom have a great relationship. She is a wonderful communicator and caregiver.

Home Instead cares for my Mom. She wanted to stay in her home and with the care she has received, she is able to do just that. Sheryl is a wonderful Care Pro. She is so kind and thoughtful. She takes care of Mom’s every need.
Home Instead is incredible. They have been taking care of our Mom for several months. Julie has been a godsend. She and Mom have really clicked, Julie takes care of Mom’s every need, does so many things without being asked. It is wonderful to witness.
We have been using Home Instead for about 5 months now for my 89-year-old dad and could not be happier! Dad, who is physically very mobile, is having some cognitive issues which were causing him to forget to eat properly and take his medication (only 3) on time. This landed him in the hospital several times during the first part of the year (2023). When he was released to go home we contacted Home Instead to provide caregiving services and get him back on track. He has been doing wonderfully ever since. It's hard to believe the improvements he has made. The caregivers have all been so attentive, kind, patient, and thorough. I feel so comfortable that they are taking excellent care of my dad which has been such a relief! The level of care from the first phone call (Dana is an outstanding coordinator) to the daily duties has been outstanding. He has several women assisting in his care and they all bring their personal, unique touch. I am so pleased with Nina, Susan, Darcy, Harmony, and Cheryl...they are all terrific caregivers! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thanks, Home Instead!!!

Our family used Home Instead for the care of our Uncle Roy A.
Unfortunately it ended up being for a very short period of time. But the relationship between the care givers and my uncle was heart warming to see. They treated Roy like he was one of their family member. In the back of our mind we thought we were opening our house to strangers, it was nothing like that. Everyone was caring and supportive of the other family members living with Roy. If it wasn't for Barb from Home Instead, my aunt could have taken Roy's passing so much harder. Barb's support and care for the family was truly a blessing to see. I personally want to "Thank" Home Instead for the donate they will be making in honor of my uncle to the dog shelter. He was such a big "Dog Lover." It was such a pleasant surprise to hear of this kind jester from Home Instead. This team is the "Best."

Home Instead has been a lifesaver for my aunt. Alzheimer’s is a heartbreaking disease and is challenging for the patient as well as her family and caregivers. The caregivers at Home Instead have been kind and patient and have allowed her to stay in her own home for nearly 10 years after her diagnosis. Two of them have been with us from the beginning of this journey and have become treasured friends of the family. I feel comfortable knowing my aunt is in good hands when any of her Home Instead caregivers arrives. The office personnel are friendly and very helpful whenever I have had to make changes to her schedule. I will continue to recommend Home Instead as an alternative to a nursing home.

With rampant advanced arthritis, I knew I couldn't manage transAtlantic travel with my children this summer. But they knew I'm also often unsteady on my feet, even with the use of a walker and /or cane. So a happy agreement was reached for me to stay home while Home Instead visited to help me with my little dogs and housekeeping and keep me company. Linda Hubble was especially helpful and hilarious and a hit with the pups. If I find I'm again in need of daily assistance and company, I'll schedule visits from Home Instead in a New York minute.

- By Client SurveyIt has been a very fluid process. The coordinator, scheduler, and Care Pros handle all challenges and changes with ease. Most importantly, my Mom has been well cared for and looks forward to the daily visits.
As a member of the Home Instead staff for almost 9 years, I've always said that our Care Pros are the best. After having have an unexpected injury and surgery, I was able to experience JUST how amazing these Care Pro's are. The day I got home from the hospital a Care Pro was waiting for me. From that day going forward I've had the best possible care from each and every Care Pro. To experience the compassion, skill, professionalism, caring and dedication was such an honor. I never would be where I'm at in recovery with out these wonderful Care Pro's. I VERY highly recommend Home Instead if you need and want the Best there is!

The service has been exceptionally good. Sheryl and Barb put their heart into their work.
Excellent 7 day per week care given by Angela, Cherie and Jennifer. They ensure my Aunt has regular meals, personal care and companionship. The admin team including Dana always answer my enquiries promptly. The team have made caring for an elderly relative so much easier.
Home Instead has been outstanding at my elderly mother's home where they take care of an elderly person. I would like to call out Care Pro Paul. Above and beyond the call of duty always. He is amazing. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead for care of your loved ones.

- By Client SurveyFirst, the communication between Home Instead provider employees and customer is excellent. Employees are highly efficient and have been phenomenal in daily care. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my family and friends. The supervision is top notch and shows great interest and is an asset to the company.
I can't say enough about the quality of care that the Home Instead caregivers have given my mom over the past 18 months. She has Alzheimer's and is in an assisted living facility. They are short-staffed and they can't give Mom the level of care , especially the socialization, that Mom needs. Home Instead provides that and so much more. What wonderful ladies and a great organization.
This company is very good to their employees and from what I have seen, clients and families seem to be happy with the quality of care across the board. It’s a win for everyone.

Jamie and Darcy were the absolute answer to my prayers on the morning my mother had taken a serious turn in her illness. I was very overwhelmed, but Jamie took control and help me to relax and get things under control. When she left, Darcy came and during the very hectic 4 hours of her shift, she offer herself to assist with any and all tasks that needed done. Responding to the situation with whatever and however her help was needed. While all the Care Pro's we had during the brief 3.5 weeks were helpful and compassionate, during this day, these two CARE PRO's stood tall. I will forever be grateful for how they assisted me and my family on that day. I highly recommend this organization to all my associates. God Bless you all for the work you do.

- Home Instead has been a consistently reliable company to help me care for my father. We have several caregivers from the company to meet our caregiving needs on a weekly basis. They are all great especially Amanda who goes the extra mile to be kind to my dad, spend time talking with him, and to keep everything tidy when I am away.

We are so thankful for Home Instead Granville Ohio. We live out of town and can’t be there daily to support our 86-year-old dad who has many medical issues. Home Instead supports our dad 9 hours every day with getting in and out of bed, getting dressed, showering, making meals, doing laundry, and so much more. The scheduling team manages our many shift requests and occasional schedule changes so effectively. We have many “care pros” that work different shifts throughout the week, and we are so thankful for all they do for Dad. We are especially grateful to Care Pro Lowell, who consistently works the morning shift 5 days a week. Lowell’s consistency, positive outlook, and fun sense of humor helped pull Dad back to reality as he recovered from hospital delirium. Lowell helped Dad come home from rehab and accompanied him to the doctor’s office, too. Lowell has a gift for caring deeply for people that has allowed him to develop a wonderful rapport with Dad. He knows just what to say to lift Dad’s spirits and get him out of the chair to walk and strengthen his legs. Lowell and all the Care Pros and support staff at Home Instead Granville OH have truly been the best medicine for Dad in keeping him cared for in his home. We highly recommend this professional organization to anyone who needs someone to help support a loved one at home.
We have tried multiple companies in the past with no success. No shows, under trained workers, and no communication from administration. Home Instead has provided well trained, dependable workers and great communication from administrators. Abby M is a hard worker and my dad appreeciates her so much!!!! She helps both my father and me in so many ways!! Sheryl takes my dad to the Muskingum Senior Center every week so he can get out, have lunch and play cards!!! She is amazing and is good at meal prepping too!!! Maria is a great administrator! The lines of communication are open. Nothing but good things to say about this company!

We especially appreciate the help from caregiver Shari who has been with us from the start. We rely upon her for so many things, including intelligent conversation. More recently, caregiver Patti has proven to be very energetic and pleasant. We give 5 stars to Home Instead of Granville, Ohio.

I was very pleased with the services. If ever there was a caregiver that was not a good match Home Instead was understanding and quick to adjust. Staffing was consistent, with only an extremely rare shift that could not be staffed, and given that my mother was in an assisted living facility it was not critical. One thing that particularly impressed me was that my Mom's team was made up of just 3 individuals who were ongoing on her case. One caregiver was even with my Mom throughout the full 2 1/2 years. Each person had their own style, personality and strengths, but I was confident they all had my mother's best interest, health and safety as their goal. My Mom recently passed away and during the time I was managing her health care I will say Home Instead was the only health care entity for which I have only good things to say. There is a good culture within this agency. I feel comfortable recommending Home Instead Granville.

Upon investigation, and our request, a representative came to our home and her visit resulted in us being involved with several care-givers. We were also fortunate to find additional assistance in our support. The several months that we have already been blessed with a generous selection of caring people has resulted in a steady schedule of attendees: TinaG., Rebecca B, and Cheryl B., who have become our 'visiting friends' who my husband and I consider to be acquired family. Excellent service. Home Instead works closely with our family to make sure our Mother’s needs are met. With Home Instead’s assistance we have been able to keep Mom at home instead of a nursing facility. Our family is very happy with all the caregivers that have been in our home to help care for mom. My mother has used Home Instead for nearly a decade, using their services starting from a few hours a week, to now 24/7 care. Home Instead allows my mother to remain happy, healthy, and safe in her own home. The Care Pros treat her like their own mother, and are angels on earth. Communication and problem-solving are excellent. With apologies if I leave someone out, some of these angels are: Alexia, Anishia, Becky, Beth, Casey, Cheryl, Dana, Dreama, Emma, Joyce, Kristin, Laurie, Lindsey, Marlene, Marsha, Nancy, Nina, Noel, Sherri, and Tammy.
Caregivers are all very friendly and professional, Debbie, Nina, Brittany and Jaime. In home care is excellent. Light cleaning, clothes washing and food prep are a big help. Caregivers also provide transportation for healthcare appts and grocery shopping. Home Instead has allowed me to stay in my condo instead of an assisted living facility.

My wife suffered a stroke 1 1/2 years ago. Our Skilled Service Caregivers help with bathrooming, exercise assistance, light dusting, vacuuming, and swiffering floors. Going with my wife for Outpatient Therapy and some meal preparation. Our Caregivers are very punctual and provide warm and friendly assistance. Home Instead is always interested in accommodating our schedule and needs.
The Home Instead team are friendly and competent. They help with your loved ones and assist with family chores. They are a welcome reprieve during a difficult time.
I used Home Instead - Granville, OH for three months. I liked the attitude of the employees and the individuals that came to my home and they were dependable. I used them five days a week from 8:00 to noon each day. They helped see that I could dress and that I could take a shower. They made sure that I wasn't susceptible to falling and they did odd tasks around the house. Scheduling was fine.
The caregivers go to my mom's assisted living facility and interact with her and give her much needed socialization. They are very caring and attentive to her. They always arrive on time and try to think of different activities and ways to take care of mom. They are very responsive to any changes I ask for or suggestions that I make. I generally talk with them 1-2 times per week, plus they write a summary of how the time was spent in a log, so I have a very good idea of what they did and how my mom is doing.
I can't say enough great things about Home Instead of Granville! Home Instead has been providing life style and dignity preserving services for our parents for approximately 5 years. All 3 children live out of state. We began services when our mother literally had a GI bleed, followed by a nervous breakdown (Diagnosis: Depression with Psychosis), after taking care of our father for 9 months after his mild-moderate stroke. Mom required 2 months of inpatient hospitalization before coming home. We almost insisted they both go into Assisted Living, but decided to give staying at home a chance with Home Instead services for Dad. He qualified and their Long Term Care Insurance covered a shift a day. When Mom got home from the hospital, she loved having the help and companionship! When Dad worsened about a year+ later, and needed to move out, we kept Home Instead for Mom and she has been paying privately because she wanted nothing more than to remain in her home. Her main caregiver has become her best friend, and so special to the entire family. Her other staff have also been wonderful and all their different personalities bring stimulation and companionship to her life. We are now in the process of getting Mom's Long Term Care Insurance to cover expenses as we are looking to add coverage as her health continues to deteriorate. Two weeks ago, her morning shift Home Instead Health Pro staff found her in a stupor. Called 911 and took her to the local hospital. Thankfully she has help almost every day and was safely found. I can't imagine what would have happened, or how long it would have taken to know she was in grave danger. She has a life alert bracelet, but didn't even have the wherewithall to use it. Home Instead is easy to work with and easy to add, or skip service days. They are the only reason Mom has still at her home 5+ years longer than expected. They are wonderful!

The very best way to have help with your needs at home. The people are excellent to work with. They help with chores and are very virtuous as well. I have had them for two months working with my wife and do just about everything you ask them to do. They go above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion. Absolutely the best they can give
I am very thankful for the services that my parents have been receiving as they are elderly and disabled and would be unable to stay in their home without the type of assistance provided by Home Instead. The Care pros are very reliable which has given me peace of mind. The agency is promptly responsive to all communications, and have been great at addressing emergency as they have come up. Their family portal is a nice feature. It provides on-demand access to care logs, allowing one to monitor the care that is being provided, and is an another avenue for discussing the care needs with the agency. The team members at Home Instead have gone above and beyond, which has caused us to feel as though they truly care, and we are not merely a source of revenue. I highly recommend Home Instead.
I hired Home Instead - Granville many months ago and they're still providing care and they're wonderful. They are amazing. They are the most attentive, kind, helpful, supportive, loving, and caring for my father. It's changed our lives because I could not provide the care anymore, and I have peace of mind. It's overwhelming. The people that they have on staff have all been so amazing, to the person who set it up to do the interview, all the way to the caregivers. They have been responsive. We've had two sort of emergency situations where we needed lots of extra care on a really very short notice, and they were able to pull strings every time and provide care. I'm just blown away at their training, their level of detail, and their punctuality. They are incredible. I'm kind of shocked at how amazing the services are. I knew it would be good, but I didn't know it'd be this spectacular. It's amazing and you can tell that the team has each other's back. They support each other. I like the level of detail of note taking. I can look at any given day and see exactly what happened that day, how much my father ate, if he had any issues with toileting, his needs, any problems. They were able to spot more things than the people in the facility where he is staying. I've been so grateful. They've been just a part of our family. I'm super happy with their service. We use them four hours a day, five days a week. It's constant from noon to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Billing is fantastic and it's every two weeks. It's an automatic withdrawal, and it makes it super easy to do that. There have been no issues. They provide invoices. It's been great.
My husband and I are both clients of Home Instead - Granville. They're very prompt with getting back to you and getting you set up with a caregiver and checking with us to see how we're doing with the caregiver and how we enjoy having her. We've never had a problem with the caregivers we've got. We're hoping that as long as we have Home Instead, that we will continue to have the same caregivers. We use them four times a week for a total of 16 hours. They will make the beds, they will run the sweeper, help my husband with the shower, just the normal everyday household chores. We haven't had a problem with any of the scheduling and billing.
I'm using Home Instead - Granville. They're awesome. I've had them now for two-and-a-half years. I like their ability to care. I've always had the same caregiver. I have them from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and they're always here. I use them every day, seven days a week. I have two dogs and I'm in a wheelchair, and they take them out. They help me with getting them fed and taking medications. I have a nurse that comes in once every two weeks and fills up my pills. They fix my meals for me and that's three meals a day and I fix whatever I want. If I need groceries, I just give cash to them with a list of the groceries, and they'll bring them back and put them away for me.
I've been using Home Instead - Granville for almost four years now. I like everything, convenience, arranging of time, transportation, home maintenance, and fellowship. Everything that I need, they provide. I use them five days a week. They give the choice of three time periods during the day and let me select which of those periods I want the service. It's at their convenience, but also mine.
The staff is wonderful. They are always cheerful and provide caregivers when needed. The caregivers are equally wonderful. They are patient, caring, and offer mom the care and companionship she needs.
Home Instead is currently providing companionship for my Mother who has dementia while I run errands and attend meetings. The caregivers are always on time, cheerful and very caring. The staff has been willing to work with my crazy schedule which has been a blessing. Thank you Home Instead!
Services have been very reliable. Both the direct caregivers and the administrative staff have been very caring and helpful. My mother has been receiving services for 6 months now. If there is a caregiver that doesn't seem a good match the agency has been quick to select someone else. I have no reservations in recommending Granville Home Instead.

Home Instead is providing excellent care for my mother. They people are kind and accommodating. I can tell they really care for my mother. The communication process between the company and the family is very good. We feel well informed of what is happening and how things are going.

The care you will receive is absolutely wonderful. There isn't anything they won't do to give you best care possible. The office personnel is wonderful to work with and work very hard to see that all your needs are met.
I would recommend Home Instead to anyone. With their help we have been able to keep my mother out of the hospital now for almost 3 months. And believe me this is awesome. The care givers do anything my mother asks of them. Very dependable, and when it comes to scheduling- everything we needed to change or add was complete in time for the next shift. It has been a pleasure to work with them my only complaint is that they don't accept passport-if they would my mother would stay with them until the end.
