Meet Our Home Care Team

Brenda Smith, General Manager

Brenda oversees all aspects of the Missoula office. She is the direct supervisor of all Care Professionals and office team. Brenda conducts quality assurance visits while Care Professionals are in the field to offer additional support and guidance, and to answer any questions that a client may have. One would contact Brenda if they have questions, compliments, or concerns related to any of our Care Professionals, any questions regarding their invoice or payments, or general questions about their care. Brenda grew up in Arizona and moved to Lewistown, MT in 2001. She relocated to Missoula in 2009. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Amber

Amber Brauner, Client Care Coordinator

Amber takes the call when someone contacts Home Instead inquiring about our services. She answers their questions, learns a bit about the potential client, and talks about the services provided. Amber schedules a face to face meeting with potential clients and their family members to assess their situation, learn about their personality, and develop a care plan specific for that individual client.  Amber will introduce Care Professionals to clients whenever a new Caregiver is providing care. She keeps care plans up to date and conducts quality assurance calls and home visits. Amber is the person to call if you have a concern about your loved one’s condition or plan of care, if you have a question about the client journal that is kept, or if your loved one develops a need for service. Jennifer Buckentin- Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

Jennifer is the person to reach out to if you are wanting to become a Care Professional for our Missoula or Bitterroot clients.  Jennifer is who you will meet with during your interview, and orientation. Jennifer is a Care Professional as well as our Recruitment & Retention Coordinator! Bitty

Brittney "Bitty" Pak, Scheduling Coordinator

​Bitty coordinates CAREGivers' availability with our clients' needs and schedules. She works with our Client Care Coordinator to find the perfect match for both the client and CAREGiver so that they can develop a wonderful relationship. One would call Bitty if they had questions regarding their schedule with Home Instead. This would include schedule additions, changes, or cancellations. When Bitty isn't at work she can typically be found hiking the trails around Missoula and spending time with her family. Bitty's e-mail address is
