Meet Our Team

​Vesna Parks has owned and operated Home Instead of Northeast Rochester since 2004. Vesna became interested in starting a Home Instead franchise after watching her parents struggle with finding companion care for her grandparents. "One of the most rewarding aspects of this job is helping family's make the perfect match with a Care Professional who can help them". Prior to this, she had 10 years of working experience in various non-profit organizations, focusing primarily on educational programming. Vesna holds a Masters Degree from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College. She lives with her husband and two children in Rochester.

After working as a retail store manager for 12 years, Kristen decided to follow her passion and work with seniors. Kristen realized the enjoyment she got out of helping the seniors in her own family and wanted to be able to share that with other seniors as well. It is very important to Kristen to love where you work, who you work with and what you do and feels very fortunate to have found all three at Home Instead. Kristen joined our office in 2006 and has completed the Train the Trainer program through the Alzheimer's Association which allows her to educate our Care Professionals on Alzheimer's and Dementia Care. Kristen lives with her husband, son and two dogs in Webster.

Laura knew at age 7 that she wanted to be a nurse. Laura has been able to live that dream for over 30 years. In her career she has worked in the hospitals, home care, Hospice, ARC, Case Management positions and in mental health achieving her Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Board Certification. Laura has always been an advocate for the underserved and misrepresented. Laura lives in Newark with her husband, has one son, 2 twin daughters and a stepdaughter. Laura’s favorite thing is spending time with her family.

Marta joined Home Instead in 2019 as one of our on-call coordinators and in 2023 she added the role of Human Resources Manager. Marta has an extensive background and knowledge of LHCSA home care, having worked for 23 years as a Manager with another LHCSA agency. She understands the needs of the clients, coordinators, Care Pros, HHAs, PCAs to provide quality home care . Marta is a mother of three.  She loves to challenge herself, and is always up for new experiences and adventures. She loves to travel, most recently enjoying a family vacation to Cancun. Her favorite quote is, "I trust the next chapter because I know the author.

My name is Holly Crocker and I am a licensed and certified occupational therapy assistant (OTA). Prior to becoming an OTA, I managed retail stores in the Rochester area. I decided to change career paths because I felt I had the ability to help others achieve their goals when obstacles were standing in their way. I live in Fairport with my fiance and his two daughters. In my free time I enjoy skiing, hiking and going for long walks. I am also an avid animal lover and try to help less fortunate animals whenever possible. My true passion has always been helping others and I love that I can turn my passion into a career.

Karen joined Home Instead in 2022 with over 25 years office and management related experience. An Alum of Jamestown Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology, Karen’s varied background includes paid and volunteer work in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, religious organizations and schools.

Marchelle joined Home Instead in 2022. She has been in the Health Care field for 20 years. Caring for others has always been her passion. She has worked in various settings: hospital, nursing home, home health care aid and with the mentally and physically disabled. Marchelle is currently in the process of earning her RN so she can continue to help others. Marchelle and her husband have raised 4 beautiful children and have 5 grandchildren. Marchelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs and watching the Dallas Cowboys play. She would love more time to go Horseback riding, swimming, hiking, and dancing.

​Michele joined Home Instead in 2019 after a long successful career as an HR Generalist and Recruiter. Her responsibilities in this role included recruiting, hiring and on-boarding new employees as well as employee relations and customer service. Michele is passionate about the elderly after caring for her own parents. In her spare time, Michele enjoys spending time with her grown sons and their families, going to basketball games and cheerleading competitions for her grandchildren. Michele lives in Fairport, NY with her husband and their West Highland Terrier, “Maxie”.

​Julie joined Home Instead in 2013 as part of our on-call team and has been working at Unity Hospital for 34 year as a Senior Registration / Admitting Specialist Coordinator. She likes cooking and entertaining friends and family in her free time. Julie lives in Greece with her husband and 2 sons. Julie is a dedicated Mom and enjoys being with her family. Julie has been a Hockey Mom for 15 yrs and has traveled the Northeast and Canada.

​Lynnette has worked for Home Instead since 2014 as a weekend coordinator. Lynnette enjoys talking with the Care Professionals and the clients very much. Lynnette has worked for the Town of Greece since 1998 and for Unity Health Hospital since 2007. She enjoys spending time with family and friends any chance she can.
