Doug Hevner, Franchise Owner and General Manager
Doug Hevner is the Franchise Owner and General Manager of the York County Home Instead Senior Care office. He was born and raised in York County, and lived here his entire life. After working over 20 years as an executive for for a local company, he decided to start his own company helping York's seniors. According to Doug; "York was in great need for a Home Care company that treated seniors with dignity and respect. A company whose employees were compassionate about helping others". He opened the Home Instead Office in early 2003. To compliment his role in the company Doug earned his Certified Senior Advisor designation early on and maintained that through November of 2019. Later he became an Ordained Minister with Universal Life Church and has officiated over a few marriage ceremonies. He is proud that the York Office remains family operated for the last 17 years.
