Erica Wagner, BS, RD, Owner, President

Erica Wagner, BS, RD is the owner and President of the Home Instead that serves the Douglas, Elbert, Jefferson, Park, Clear Creek, Gilpin and Summit counties in Colorado. 

She is deeply committed to improving the lives of seniors and their families. Erica spent years working as a Registered Dietitian at many hospitals in the Denver area and with a large Home Health company. She is passionate about helping families and taking care of the people around her.

Erica grew up in a small farming town in Illinois and attended Western Illinois University for her undergrad. She then received her Registered Dietitian Internship through the School of Science at Indiana University. Erica enjoys spending time with her husband, Jared, their 5 year old son, Grayson and 2 year old daughter, Lennon. She enjoys visiting her parents back on their farm in Illinois and being able to share the farm life with her little ones. You can have all of the education in the world, all of the experience, but nothing replaces a good worth ethic. Erica also enjoys traveling, good food and great company!

Arianna Robinson, General Manager

Arianna has a passion for health and wellness and loves working to improve the lives of others. She is from Springfield, Missouri, where she graduated from Drury University with her degree in Clinical & Behavioral Neuroscience. She moved to Colorado a year later to join the Home Instead team and has loved every minute since! As the CAREGiver Experience Coordinator, she is ultimately responsible for hiring and training the BEST CAREGivers to offer extraordinary care to those we serve. She has a soft spot in her heart for seniors with dementia because of her own grandparents’ experience with Alzheimer’s. Arianna loves adventures and staying active, spending her free time exploring the mountains or discovering the city. When not out and about, she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Suzanne Quintana, HR and Office Coordinator

Suzanne is a fun and caring person with a passion for helping others. She is from Las Vegas NM, where she attended New Mexico Highlands University and received a Bachelor of Psychology. She continues to pursue her MA degree in Industrial and Organizational psychology, to further her goals of assisting people in need. Her experience lies within coordinating, scheduling, recruiting, customer service and human resources, she will continue to use her previous experience at Home Instead as our Office and HR coordinator. A turning point in her life happened, after experiencing a hardship with her father who suffered from and stroke and cancer, after working with her father she devoted her time to helping those in need. She enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew and three children Isaiah, Arianna and Becky. Being outdoors is a solitude place for her and she enjoys, horseback riding, four wheeling, fishing and motorcycle riding. She is so happy to be a part of the wonderful family at Home Instead!

Nancy, Recruitment Coordinator

Nancy comes to Home Instead with a wide range of professional experience complimented by her master’s in psychology.  Her experience includes a diverse background in senior living, academia, healthcare, human resources, and the employee benefits industry.  

Nancy understands how important relationship is when conducting her day-to-day responsibilities.  She is passionate about client health and welfare and believes in customizing her approach to each and every client, customer, and employee’s unique experience; operating on a personal philosophy that every client and employee deserve great respect and nurturing care. Her personal mission each day is to be responsive to client and employee needs and quality of life issues and to help the company serve our clients/customers consistent with “how would she want to be treated”.

Nancy has served as a court appointed child advocate (a volunteer assignment) for many years influencing her decision to return to school and earn a Master’s in Psychology with an emphasis in Advocacy at Regis University in Denver.  Building a strong cross-functional team and treating employees the way you want them to treat clients/customers is of upmost importance.

 

Mary Budnack, Bsc, CSA, Client Care Manger

Mary Budnack, CSA, Client Care Manger

Mary has been in the field of home care for over eighteen years. Her love for seniors began at the age of 17. Working in a skilled nursing facility, Mary found her passion to help seniors and saw the need to provide quality care with dignity and respect.

Along with her 10 years at Home Instead Senior Care, Mary worked as a Medical Assistant, specializing in Geriatric Internal Medicine, OBGYN, Gastroenterology and Hospice.

Mary earned her Bachelor’s in Applied Psychology at Regis University, Denver. In addition she has an Associates of Arts in Music from OrangeCoast College in California and is a Certified Senior Advisor. Mary is very active in the community. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association, Senior Resource Council and Eucharistic Ministry giving Holy Communion to the homebound and terminally ill.

Growing up in Southern California, Mary loves the ocean. She is an avid swimmer and enjoys snorkeling, sailing and kayaking. At home, in Monument, Colorado Mary loves to cook. Her award winning shepherd’s pie makes her quite popular during St. Patrick’s Day. She is very proud of her incredible son, Brad, who is the light of her life. Last, but not least, her sweet, old, blind and crippled baby Chihuahua is a joy to have around.

Vanessa Githinji, Service Coordinator

Vanessa is a kind and caring individual with a passion for working with seniors. As a service coordinator, she oversees scheduling care for our clients with caregivers to find the best fit for all their needs. Vanessa has worked in home care for over three years now. She started as a professional caregiver where she grew her passion for seniors even more. During her career as a professional caregiver, Vanessa worked with all types of clients both in homes and facilities.

She moved to the United States five years ago from Nairobi, Kenya. Vanessa lived in Minnesota for three years where she attended Concordia College before moving to Colorado. In the future, she aspires to be a nurse-midwife or an anesthesiologist.

Hana Sample, Training Coordinator

Hana moved to Colorado in 2022. She is from Czech Republic. Hana found her passion for helping people of different ages about 7 years ago. She worked with children with special needs. She started as a caregiver with Home Instead before she was offered the Training Coordinator position. She is passionate about helping people, building relationships and ensuring our caregivers and staff receive continuing training to provide the highest quality care for our clients. Hana enjoys being active and anything outdoors!

Kanoi Oili, On-Call Coordinator

Kanoi started with HISC as a CAREGiver in 2011 with a steady client for about 2 years. Kanio was then offered the On-Call Support position to provide help to both our clients and CAREGivers during off hours. She enjoys this position as it still allows her to utilize her knowledge of the healthcare field as well as an understanding of what Caregivers experience while working in the field. Kanoi’s grandmother began living with her family and grew Kanoi’s soft heart for seniors. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her 3 boys and husband.
