Meet Our Team

Todd Anderson, Owner & Managing Director
Todd Anderson is no stranger to business, accumulating a variety of rich experiences in financial services over thirty-five years, but he wanted something more. He decided that a mission helping seniors stay in their homes as long as possible represented the perfect challenge. When Todd heard that a Home Instead franchise was available on the South Shore, where he's lived for thirty years, he jumped at the opportunity. Todd is excited to serve seniors and their families on the South Shore, able to enhance lives in his own back yard. Todd is married with two adult children and a chocolate Lab, enjoys sailing, skiing, running, volunteering for his church and alma mater, and actively supporting Our Minds Matter, a non-profit organization established in memory of his nephew.

Mandy Adams, Human Resources Team Leader
Mandy is from the state of Missouri but has lived in Massachusetts for the last 10 years. She is currently responsible for overseeing all CAREGiver and client schedules overnight and on weekends, and works in the office some afternoons to assist Nancy Reynolds in scheduling. Michaela has been a certified healthcare professional for over 25 years. When she is not juggling schedules, Michaela demonstrates her deep commitment to in-home senior care by continuing to serve clients in their homes. Michaela is married, has three adult children, and loves animals – with a full menagerie at home!

Kevin Jones, Office Coordinator
Kevin joined the Home Instead Norwell team in March of 2021. A desire to be a part of a team that makes a daily positive impact on the lives of seniors in the community is what drew Kevin to Home Instead. He is the Office Coordinator handling billing and payroll, among many other responsibilities, on hand to keep the office running smoothly! Kevin is married, has two dogs, one cat, and in his spare time he likes to watch sports, read, and spend time with family and friends.

Nancy Reynolds, Service Coordinator
Nancy started with the Home Instead South Shore (Norwell) office in 2016, and has evolved into the role of Service Coordinator. Nancy’s passion for serving seniors springs from the years of devoted care that she has provided for her parents, which grew into serving for a number of years as a local hospice volunteer. In her current role, Nancy is the enchanted matchmaker, working her magic to line up the right CAREGiver(s) to serve each client. She works tirelessly to keep both CAREGivers and clients happy all the time. Nancy is married, has three adult children, and two cats. In her spare moments, she enjoys running, Pilates, spending time on her family’s boat, and is active in her church.

Jennifer Smith, Client Care Coordinator
Jennifer Smith started working at Home Instead Norwell in May 2019 as a CAREGiver, and has since worn many hats. While continuing her work as a CAREGiver, she transitioned to become the office's Administrative Assistant. After excelling in that function, Jen was promoted to Assistant Recruitment, Engagement and Training Coordinator, and later moved on to Client Care Coordinator, all reflecting her wide-ranging talents and energy. Jen is the founder of Sunshine for Seniors, a project aimed at boosting the morale of our senior community during the pandemic through the art work of local children. Jen is a self-described "caregiver by nature." She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education. In the first 20 years of her career, Jennifer worked as a toddler and preschool teacher before transitioning into providing in-home childcare. After 5 years as a stay-at-home mom, Jennifer was eager to get back into caregiving but in a different way - caring for seniors. Jennifer lives in Norwell with her husband and their 2 children. In Jennifer’s spare time she enjoys competing in obstacle course races and 5-mile mud runs around MA, and drinking iced coffee year-round.

Amanda Thompson, Client Care Coordinator/RN
Amanda joined Home Instead in 2021 after being a stay-at-home mom for a few years and working per diem doing assessments for Long Term Care Insurance companies. Amanda started her work in the healthcare profession at the age of 16, knowing from a young age that she wanted to be able to help and take care of people. Amanda started as a CNA in a nursing home, then worked in Homecare as well as Hospice care while she went through nursing school. After becoming an RN she worked at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital on the General Rehab/Cardiac floor and then became an Admissions Nurse for the facility and was able to work on different specialty floors such as Stroke Unit, Traumatic Brain Injury Unit, Spinal Cord Injury Unit, and Orthopedic Unit. After Spaulding, Amanda went on to be the Nurse Supervisor for another Home Care Agency and was there until she welcomed her daughter into the world and then a short 14 months after that welcomed her son. Amanda lives in Hanover with her husband and two children. She enjoys running road races, working out, spending time with her family and friends, and watching her kids at all their sports and extracurricular activities. Amanda is happiest on the beach soaking up the sun.

Jay Tolman, Director of Community Outreach
Jay joined Home Instead Norwell with over 20 years' experience as a Regional Manager in the Home Care and Hospice Electronic Medical Records software industry. Jay's ability to build relationships and trust with health care providers, as well as his desire to help find solutions for families, and caregivers, is why Jay was drawn to join the Home Instead team. Jay is married, has three children, and Ernie the dog. He loves spending time with his family and friends, sailing, and skiing. Jay and his family also organize and host an annual Labor Day fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Hingham, MA.

Tess Reggio, Client Care Coordinator
Growing up in the military showed Tess how difficult it can be to find your place in an ever-changing environment. Witnessing how the pandemic changed her own environment, Tess recognized how much harder this was for her family’s older members and she found she had a knack for assisting those who struggled with change. Using her many years in customer service, Tess brings patience, compassion, and trust to her work with seniors in the community who are dealing with physical and mental changes. Tess lives in Braintree where she is married with three children, a puppy, and a turtle.
