Live-In Caregivers 24hrs/3-4 days a week in Chicago Area

We are seeking compassionate, responsible LIVE-IN (24-hour) CAREGivers for our elderly clients. Our live-in CAREGivers provide in-home, 24-hour care for 3-4 days a week. Providing live-in services allows you to work in one of health care's safest environments: One-on-one in the private home of a senior. Our team of CAREGivers work in the home of our senior clients and provide support in the areas of: basic household duties (laundry, light housekeeping), meal preparation/cooking, errands, medication reminders, support with grooming, dressing, personal care, bathing, toileting, as well as incontinent care (as needed), companionship, and activities within the client's capabilities. Most importantly, we're looking for CAREGivers that want to make a difference in the lives of seniors and build meaningful relationships with them. Your personal experiences can support your role as a CAREGiver - have you helped a family member, friend or neighbor? Have you worked or been in a role where customer service is the priority? Working one-on-one with an individual in their home is currently a safer environment than working in a nursing home and allows you to focus on one person rather than 10-12 residents at a time. This gives you time you to develop relationships with the client and their support network. As a Home Instead CNA, under the supervision of our Registered Nurses, you would provide support, in the home of the client, with positioning and transferring, medication reminders, bathing and dressing, observe, report, and record client changes in condition, catheter care, support with feeding, basic household duties (laundry, light housekeeping), meal preparation, support with grooming, as well as incontinent care (as needed), companionship, Alzheimer's and Dementia care, and activities within the client's capabilities.
