Meet Our Team

Kelly experienced caregiving firsthand for his father, a WWII decorated Army veteran, who passed away in the family farmhouse in 1999. That experience opened his eyes and heart to the challenges families face when caring for their senior.

Kelly has worked in the health care industry for 20 years. He began his career as a business consultant, helping large health care providers design and implement business strategies and improve operations. That experience helps him quickly assess problems and implement solutions. He is very proud of his trusted relationships with Home Instead's Care Professionals and is inspired by their compassion.

Kelly brings his compassion for seniors, dedication to his Care Professionals, and business insight to work every day.

Colleen has been with Home Instead for nineteen years. She holds a degree in Business Marketing and previously worked as an Advertising and Sales Consultant. When her own father became ill, Colleen quit her job in a sales and marketing career to become the primary family caregiver. Colleen found this role so rewarding that she took a part-time job as a caregiver with Home Instead. Colleen was quickly promoted to the Client Care team for 7 years. She received her certification as a Certified Senior Advisor in 2010. Colleen was promoted to Home Care Consultant in June 2016. In 2017, Colleen was again promoted to lead the team of Client Care Managers. In 2021, she became General Manager of the Itasca Home Instead before being promoted to President of the Fox River Valley location in 2023! She ensures that families receive the care they need to achieve their goals.

Colleen has three children and one granddaughter. She enjoys walking, reading, and attending her granddaughter's sporting events.​

Rage Ledbetter has been a part of Home Instead since 2014.  He joined Home Instead after working for the IL Department of Mental Health for more than 20 years.  During his time there, Rage cared for some of the toughest mental health cases and prided himself on making intimate connections with patients.  Rage is from a large family and was fortunate to be around many elders throughout childhood.  He learned to respect and enjoy time with his senior family members.  Today, Rage uses the full complement of these experiences to assist Care Professionals, seniors and their families as Field Service Manager at Home Instead. 

Rage has a passion for movies, music and pop culture.  He is proud of his large family.  An entrepreneur, Rage founded Tango Comics in 2009.

Gina started with Home Instead in 2024 as our Client Care Manager, ensuring families in our community get the care and support they need.  Gina has spent most of her career working with Special Needs children and adults as an Aide and then moving on to Job Coach and Vocational Coordinator. 

Gina has raised three children and is a Grandma (GG) to three beautiful grandchildren. She has a dog and a cat and lives in St. Charles. She spends most of her free time in nature Horseback riding, Hiking and Kayaking and family and friends are an integral part of her life. She enjoys Music and the Restaurant Scene living in The Fox River Valley.

Kathy has worked in the healthcare industry for several years in different rolls.  Her first position was as a Unit Secretary at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston Il, while studying their Radiography program.  She worked and gained experience on several of their units including the Emergency Room, Cancer Floor and ICU.  She worked closely with patients doing her clinicals out of Resurrection Hospital in Chicago.    She realized her passion and love was in the medical community.  Watching families and the patients being properly taken care of with dignity was Kathy's determination. 

Kathy had a family member in several nursing homes throughout Chicago and saw how important it was for any patient to have one on one care.  She went on to work in an Assisted Living facility and again saw how much the patients loved their private care givers.   She went on to become a Care Professional, giving back to her client's what others gave to her family.  Her belief is every client should be treated with respect, compassion, and dignity.  After being a Care Professional with Home Instead for two months she was asked to take on the emergency after hours line.  It was a challenging but greatly rewarding step for her. 

Kathy has now been promoted as Staffing Manager in St. Charles and is determined to make a difference.  Her goal is to set up Client's with Care Pro's that will make a positive impact in their life and wellbeing.  A perfect match between the Client and Care Pro can make all the difference!  She wants to see both the Client and Care Pro happy, successful, and feeling pride each day.  

Darnell first joined the Home Instead team as a caregiver and quickly transitioned to a Recruiter for our Itasca office in only 4 short months.  Darnell recently transitioned to the St Charles office and brings more than 35 years of management and customer service roles, allowing him to identify caregivers to serve our clients starting with the recruitment process and then matching them with the clients we serve.
