Bowling Green August 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - Sue T. & Pat M.
Meet Sue and her Professional CAREGiver, Pat, Bowling Green’s Spotlight Team for August! Sue was a housewife and raised three wonderful children, one girl and two boys. She says they’ve all done well for themselves, and Sue is proud of each one of them. Pat has been a caregiver for 20 years and currently has two clients. Sue and Pat have been paired together since August 2020. They hit it off immediately. They love to talk, cook, and genuinely enjoy spending time with one another.
When Pat arrives to help Ms. Sue, she will begin by making the bed and washing dishes. They don’t go out much so Pat can spend a lot of time cleaning the home. Sue’s husband still helps with most things at home, but Pat will help Sue get in the car for doctor appointments. Sometimes Pat will make lunch for Sue, but often Sue will eat her favorite food of peanut butter and crackers. Pat’s supervisor says, “Pat always takes the initiative with Sue’s care and Sue truly wouldn’t know what to do without her”. We are certainly glad Sue and Pat get to “Share Their Hearts” together and hope for many more years together!
