Professional CAREGiver Ambassadors

​​​Our team of CAREGiver Ambassadors are here to respond to urgent needs that may arise day or night. There are a variety of situations in which our CAREGiver Ambassadors help us ensure the upmost quality of care and responsiveness. On any given day a CAREGiver may experience an emergency and be unable to make it to their client's home. In this case we deploy our CAREGiver Ambassador to arrive on time to ensure the client never goes without care. In addition, they assist our CAREGivers with extra support in the home when a client has a particularly challenging day. We are grateful for our CAREGiver Ambassadors and the vital role they play as members of our team.

Originally from Glasgow, Kentucky, Brad has a Bachelor's Degree from Western Kentucky University. Brad is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and a licensed nursing home administrator in Kentucky and Florida. He purchased his first franchise in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 2002, and has since purchased multiple Home Instead franchises across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama.

Home Instead is personal to me because every senior in the community deserves to age in the place that they have called home until their final days. I chose Home Instead and continue to choose Home Instead because I can. I can choose to be a driving force in the aging process and aging at home. I have watched complete strangers and friends sit in a nursing home and stare blankly out a window each day, wishing to go home, or leave. I am realistic that I cannot save everyone, but I can diligently chip away at spreading the mission and, more importantly, the love. I choose Home Instead because I genuinely want to positively enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. I choose Home Instead so that I can work side by side with admin who quickly became like family and share the same mission. I choose Home Instead to have the opportunity to be a difference maker, a leader, and a resource for people who do not want to ask for help but need it. I chose Home Instead because it is an ever-changing business that gives people opportunity…if you want it. Life is hard, sometimes work is hard, but the choice I made is easy."

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Juanita and her husband relocated to Bowling Green Kentucky in 2015. Soon after moving, Juanita began her career with Home Instead as a Professional CAREGiver in Bowling Green, KY, determined to do something that she loved, something “worthwhile” and something to “make a difference”. She served as the Communications Engineer for the Bowling Green, KY, franchise before becoming the Human Resources Coordinator then quickly transitioning into the Director of Human Resources.

In 2017 Juanita began working with Clarksville and its surrounding areas as the Vice President of Operations, to help seniors in the community. In November of 2019, Juanita accepted the opportunity to run a second franchise in Goodlettsville to serve more seniors. As of 2020, Juanita moved to Gadsden, Alabama, to oversee all operations there. In November 2020, Juanita acquired the Nashville Home Instead, as well as the Franklin Home Instead, and appointed two Executive Directors to run day to day operations in those two businesses. As of January 2021, Juanita now oversees all operations in Bowling Green KY, and Frankfort KY Home Instead as well, making her Operationally responsible for all outcomes in all 7 Franchises. As Vice President of Operations, she provides support to the Divisional Vice President in Bowling Green, KY, and the Executive Directors of the Clarksville, Goodlettsville, Nashville, Franklin, and Gadsden, offices.

Kristine grew up the daughter of a military father, so her early years were spent all around the country. She lived in Pensacola, FL for 16 years prior to moving to Bowling Green, KY, in 2006. She spent her first ten years in Bowling Green auditing and consulting, but at the end of 2016, she felt called to do something more. She desired to spend more of her time helping others, as opposed to simply being behind a desk. The decision to become a Professional CAREGiver at Home Instead was her answer. After a year, she transitioned into the Client Care Department as a Client Care Coordinator and was shortly promoted to the Client Care Lead. In 2018, Kristine was promoted Director of Client Care overseeing total operations of the Client Care department, but quickly moved to Director of Operations, overseeing Client Care and Client Services, and additionally Second in Command of the Bowling Green franchise. When she is not at work, she's involved with her church, or is outdoors either playing sports, hanging with friends, or listening to music.

“Home Instead is personal to me because I have a desire to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. I truly feel Home Instead is an important asset to our community and I want to be a part of it. I understand how important it is that our clients have consistent care, and I get to be a part of creating that consistency as a member of our Client Services department. My caregiving experience started when I helped care for a family member who had become suddenly ill with terminal cancer. Knowing how important it was for him to receive care and companionship made me realize that so many other people need that care as well.”
Tiffany was born and raised in Glasgow, Kentucky. She graduated from Western Kentucky University. Tiffany joined the Home Instead family as a member of our Client Services department in September 2019. She is the Director of Client Services and is responsible for total operations of the department, including scheduling, client/caregiver optimization and creating lasting matches between the two. Tiffany enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her daughter and mother.

I can meet seniors in their homes and bring light, love, and dignity to their storms. I am blessed to hold this position because I can multiply my love and expertise to reach an infinite amount of those in need.”

Riley is from Jackson, Michigan, but spent most of her childhood in Cub Run, KY which is close to Nolin River. She is married with two beautiful children. She has a boxer named Rook and a tortoiseshell cat named Cali. She enjoys bodybuilding, hiking, spending time outdoors with her family, and hot wings.

Stacey was born and raised in Kentucky and is the mother of three beautiful children. She enjoys her time exploring new adventures with her family. Stacey joined the Home Instead team in May 2019 as a Professional CAREGiver. She states that her favorite part of caregiving is knowing she can make a positive change in someone's everyday life. She is very thankful to have been given the chance to be a part of a growing company that offers such great services to so many clients and their families. Stacey transitioned into Client Care in July 2020, where she was responsible for conducting quality assurance visits, managing client files, and onboarding new clients. In March 2021, she was promoted to Director of Human Resources. In June of 2021, Stacey excitedly transitioned to the Director of First Impressions. Stacey excitedly greets all who call or visit the Bowling Green Franchise. As part of the Human Resources team, she continues to relentlessly pursues opportunities to be the Employer of Choice.

Melanie was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Kentucky January 2018. She loves working for Home Instead because it gives her the opportunity to give back and share her passion for helping others.  Melanie joined our team in May 2020 as a Professional CAREGiver, and just a few months later transitioned to the office as a Client Care Specialist.  In March 2021, Melanie was promoted to Director of Client Care. She says Home Instead is the most rewarding company she has ever worked for. She is proud and honored to work for a company that does so much for others. She says small acts of kindness truly can makes one’s day brighter and that in and of itself is the most rewarding aspect of her job. Melanie is married and a bonus mom to five children and has one grandson. She loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys movies and concerts.

Samantha is an Army Veteran who loves helping everyone. Home Instead was an opportunity to try something new and she feels it was one of the best decisions, to join the Home Instead mission. Samantha began her career as a Professional CAREGiver. Professionally and personally, Samantha feels her best achievement was to successfully complete Basic Training in the Army, when many doubted her. Samantha enjoys hiking with her dog, traveling, and going to the gym. Samantha says Home Instead is personal to her because everyone deserves to have quality care. She says being a part of improving quality of life to those in need is her mission, and one Home Instead has given her the opportunity to fulfill.

Donna Wilson was born in Logan County 48 years ago and has resided in Todd County for over 25 years.  She has been married to her husband for 30 years. They have two children and six grandchildren, whom they adore. They love spending time with them having cookouts, making homemade ice cream, making smores over the bonfire and playing in the pool. 

She has been with Home Instead for two years as a Professional CAREGiver and is excited to embark on a new journey within the office now as a Client Care Specialist.

"Home Instead is personal to me because I am part of a company that helps me grow personally as I take on new challenges. From a young age I cherished the moments spent with my grandmother, uncle, and auntie. I have always felt led to help individuals of that generation. Being a family caregiver for several years prepared me to appreciate and enjoy the seniors in our community, and my role as Horizon Care Specialist allows me to help many clients. I am very passionate about the work I do. My favorite part of Home Instead is seeing the smiles on clients’ faces or hearing the joy in their voices, just by seeing me in their home or speaking to me on the phone. I have always felt driven to give back and do something that makes a difference to others.”
Lakeisha became a part of the Home Instead family as a Professional CAREGiver in May 2019. She is our Horizon Care Specialist, and is responsible for auditing Medicaid documentation, data entry, and ensuring our client/caregiver schedules are accurate. She works alongside our Executive Director to ensure smooth operations of our Medicaid program. In her spare time Lakeisha enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with loved ones (especially her nieces), cooking and singing.

​Dru comes to us as a student at Western Kentucky University pursuing a double major in Biology and Chemistry. His goal is to become a physician and make a difference in the lives of others. He joined the Home Instead team as a Client Care Assistant in June 2020. He is thankful to be a part of a company that values personal relationships and truly serves the community. Erika was raised in a military family, as her father has served over 22 years in the Army. She joined the Home Instead team as a Professional CAREGiver in 2018. Soon after, she transitioned into our Client Services department as Client Services Specialist. Erika is responsible for ensuring lasting matches between our clients and Professional CAREGivers. She says she joined Home Instead to help make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Alexia Newsome, Client Services Specialist

Meet Alexia! Lexi joined the Home Instead family as a Professional CAREGiver in February 2019. She says she has always loved helping people and felt Home Instead was the best way to fulfill that love. In 2020 Lexi transitioned into the office, joining the Client Services department. She still has the opportunity to serve our clients face to face by caregiving on a part time basis. Lexi says she appreciates the opportunity to continue nurturing the relationships she has established through caregiving. Lexi takes pride in working for a company that truly cares and does everything possible to ensure our clients, Professional CAREGivers, and Key Players are delighted in their experience. As a Client Services Specialist, Lexi oversees client and Professional CAREGiver schedules, ensuring lasting matches are created. Lexi has an infectious personality! She is sure to brighten anyone’s day!

Jacob got out of the military at Fort Campbell and became a student at SKYCTC. He is with us because he loves being a caregiver and was recommended to be one by his grandmother.  He currently works in our Client Services department assisting with Client and Professional CAREGiver schedules. His future goal would be to transfer to a four-year college and get his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. He is originally from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and loves being outdoors. “I love being able to grow relationships within the people in this area through Home Instead. Everyone that I have met are all lovely people.”

“Home Instead is personal to me because I am part of a team that has a common goal, which is to ensure care for those in my community and surrounding counties.”
Originally from Bowling Green, KY, Kammarra moved back home in 2016 from Nashville, to take on the role of family caregiver for her mother, who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme. She experienced firsthand the challenges and the need for superior care for her loved one. She personally had the pleasure to receive care from the Professional Caregivers at Home Instead and was pleased and grateful with the care provided during her time of need. Her background for the past 13 years has been in Healthcare and she is very passionate about being an advocate for the care of others.

Cynthia Gupton, On Call Supervisor

Since age 13, Cynthia has provided senior care. First by volunteering, then by following the caregiving career path in the nursing field. Cynthia read an article about Home Instead in Guidepost and was drawn to join the team as a Professional CAREGiver, as she has a heart for serving. Cynthia is a follower of Christ and this is her best personal experience. Following the scripture that states, “Everything you do, do as to the Lord”, reminds her to share her servant heart to all those around her, including our clients, their families, and our Professional CAREGivers. Cynthia is a beekeeper and uses their wax to make skin cream. Additionally, she enjoys knitting and bird watching, Cynthia says Home Instead is personal to her because she can be herself, and the relationships she has built feels like family.

Erin became a caregiver at a very young age, caring for her mother and other family members. She loves to care for people and this led her to obtaining her CNA license. She’s says caregiving is all she has ever known. Her best achievements have been continuing her education in the medical field, as well as growing with the Home Instead team.  She loves spending time with family, and loves any outdoor activities. Home Instead is personal to Erin because she says “everyone needs love and compassion.” She’s is grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much to us.

Theresa Embry, Human Resource Specialist

Originally from Washington, Theresa moved to Kentucky in 2004. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother, and in her spare time she loves to participate in all things outdoors. Theresa joined Home Instead in November 2012 as a Professional CAREGiver, where she served for seven years. She transitioned into a Key Player role as our Director of First Impression, the first face and voice of Home Instead in March 2020. After mastering the DFI role, she took on the role of CAREGiver Development Specialist, then on to her current position of Human Resources Lead. Theresa is responsible for recruiting, screening, and hiring Professional CAREGivers. Additionally, she works to ensure franchise and state compliance by managing personnel and medical files, as well as working closely with the Director of Human Resources to oversee day to day operations of the Human Resources department. She says Home Instead is personal to her because of the joy and accomplishment she feels when she brightens someone’s day, with a simple smile or laugh. Theresa says she is grateful to be a part of a company that offers growth opportunities.

My family and I relocated to Kentucky from Connecticut. I thoroughly enjoy senior care, and as the Human Resources Specialist I can ensure our clients have quality caregivers. With consistency and patience I have diligently  worked in the caregiving fields for more than five years. I have developed relationships with clients and caregivers alike, focusing on their needs and improving quality of life for them and their families. I am married and have a terrific 6 year old son. I love my family. I enjoy fitness and outdoor activities. Home Instead is personal to me because Developing trust and getting to know the clients and caregivers is essential to me. Every person has individual goals whether it be clients or caregivers. It is very important to make sure our clients are comfortable and that we meet their everyday needs and expectations. We do this by providing quality caregivers. I take this responsibility personally.

Deborah Trickey, Professional CAREGiver Development Specialist

Meet Debbie! Debbie has been married to her husband Fred for 36 years.  They have a son and daughter which are twins, and she is the grandmother of three. She grew up in the Bay Area in California and moved to Kentucky 25 years ago.  She enjoys cooking for her family and playing with her grandchildren. Some other hobbies include reading, crocheting, and gardening. Debbie became a Professional CAREGiver before transitioning to our Key Player team. As a Professional CAREGiver, she won the hearts of every client and family she had the opportunity to serve. Debbie’s reliability and professionalism, along with the quality of care she provided, was recognized by all! There is no doubt, Debbie’s knows what it takes to be a successful CAREGiver. Now, and in addition to caregiving, Debbie is our CAREGiver Development Specialist. What better way to train our Professional CAREGivers, than with Debbie, someone who truly exemplifies exceptional caregiving! She is responsible for onboarding our newly hired CAREGivers, as well as conducting ongoing training, and additional hands-on training as necessary to ensure our Professional CAREGivers are set up for success. We are proud to have Debbie on our team!

Amanda began her tenure with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in 2004. She has served in various administrative roles helping clients and their families in multiple capacities becoming a true expert in senior care. She transitioned to the Regional Team in 2017 as the Home Care Specialist, where she currently assist individuals inquiring about our care and payment options. Amanda also enjoys time with her husband and two sons – whether is at sports, traveling to new places or just enjoying a relaxing weekend at home. It is truly her pleasure to assist with families in finding a trusted provider and seeing them delighted with their Professional CAREGiver.

​Donna joined the Home Instead team in January 2008. She oversees the billing and payroll for all regional franchises. She works hard to ensure that every detail of our client’s invoices and our CAREGiver’s paychecks are correct. Donna counts it a joy to work for a company that is truly all about helping others. Donna is married and has two wonderful children. She enjoys cooking, serving at her church, and lazy days on the lake with her family.

To have the opportunity to put a smile on our senior’s faces by helping them accomplish things they would otherwise not be able to accomplish is such a joy to me. We make a difference! I am very fortunate to be a part of Home Instead’s team." 
In 2010, after being a stay-at-home mom for five years, Enjoli joined the Home Instead family as a Professional CAREGiver. She joined the Staffing Department in 2011 and was promoted to Director of Human Resources in June of 2012 where she was responsible for total operations of the Human Resources Department. After serving as the Director of Human Resources for nearly five years, Enjoli became our Regional Operations Consultant where she was responsible for ensuring that all departments in each of our offices operate with the same systems. In October 2017 Enjoli became the VPO of our Bowling Green, KY franchise. In May of 2021, she became the Vice President of Human Resources. She works closely with the Executive Directors in all franchises, with a focus on providing excellent Key Player onboarding, and ensuring we remain the Employer of Choice. Enjoli is a CAREGiver at heart as she still enjoys providing caregiving services when she is not working in the office. Enjoli is always smiling, and she says that it is a joy to her to communicate with the CAREGivers, clients, and Key Players daily. She works in a busy office and her positive attitude is appreciated by all who interact with her. Enjoli and her husband have three delightful children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

“Home Instead is personal to me because I was forced to leave the corporate world in 1999 to provide care for my husband’s parents.  We looked for solutions but were unable to find one that was satisfactory. My goal is to ensure no other family will have to make the hard decisions we faced at the start of the decade. Joining Home Instead in 2001 allowed me to focus on that goal.”

Raising two children in Nashville, Tennessee and providing care to aging parents left Jamie little time for extra activities. Since becoming an empty nester and having her husband’s parents graduate to the eternal home, Jamie now enjoys her three dogs and visiting her children.

Jamie started her career at Home Instead as a Professional CAREGiver. She has served in multiple administrative roles and each position has prepared her for her current role.  Jamie is responsible for ensuring all systems are being followed as an internal auditor.  She is meticulous in her evaluation of all Home Instead standards.  Her drive for excellence and quality makes her the right person for her current role.

​​Jennifer was born and raised in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She joined Home Instead in 2009 after being a stay at home mom for 12 years. She transitioned to our ​administrative team where she was the Communications Engineer for 6 years. She has since transitioned to her current role of Regional Accounting Specialist where she is responsible Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, 401K and helping clients and their families with billing questions.

Mary joined Home Instead in August 2016 as our Regional Billing Specialist. She is responsible for the billing for all our franchise offices. Mary and her husband Ben have a wonderful daughter named Leah. She and her family have been caregivers to several of their own family members. Mary is excited to be a part of a business that truly serves others and helps them remain in their homes, providing a helping hand in their journey of life. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to church.​

Jacque is originally from Chicago, but spent many years moving around the country with the US Air Force. She has lived in Kentucky for eight years and is enjoying calling it home. She joins the Home Instead finance department as Regional Billing/Payroll Specialist to assist with billing and payroll needs for all our franchises. Jacque enjoys spending time being a mom, reading, hiking, spending time outdoors and being involved with her local church family. She truly believes in the importance of the mission of serving your loved ones and hopes to serve them well with grace.

Carlee joined the Home Instead team as a Regional Finance Assistant when she began her college career in August 2018. She is currently a graduate student at Western Kentucky University pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She enjoys serving her campus ministry, going on walks, and spending time with friends and family. Carlee is proud to say she is a part of a company that serves and cares for people well.

“It’s great to be part of the Finance Team with Home Instead.  From billing and payroll, I see the caregivers’ dedication to clients:  short shifts, long shifts, day and night shifts, errands, trips to doctors and grocery stores, and even shifts of administrative staff taking caregivers to shifts on the big snow days!  I’m happy to be part of a team who works together and puts the client first.  We have everything we need in finance--the latest technology, tech support, training, and each other.”  

Mary joined Home Instead in July 2020 and enjoys the connectedness of the Finance team, even as a remote worker.  She enjoys time with family and friends and likes to keep in touch with those near and far through letter-writing.  This past year, her family has discovered a joy for simple home improvement projects.

Growing up in a military family, Lisa had the pleasure of moving all around world. Her family is from Mississippi and she graduated from Mississippi State University, but Kentucky is home now! She moved to Glasgow 19 years ago and raised four children there. She is familiar with the desire to have family members taken good care of when you are unable to provide that care yourself.

She enjoys travelling to see family out of state, watching high school soccer, and encouraging our adult children to pursue whatever the Lord has gifted them to do.

Home Instead is personal to me because I’ve always had a heart that longs to help others and Home Instead helps me do just that. Being a part of serving different communities around the region brings me great joy and excitement and I am glad I can say that I get to do that through Home Instead."

Mackenzie is from Glasgow, KY and transitioned to Bowling Green, KY in 2018 when she started her college career at Western Kentucky University. She studies Social Media Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She enjoys baking, walking in the sun and spending quality time with her friends and family. She is also a huge advocate for healthy living and loves learning ways to heal the body in a holistic way.

Brandon is originally from Tennessee but has lived in Bowling Green, KY since 2009. She has a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Brandon joined Home Instead in May 2021 as the Business Development Coordinator. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also loves traveling, camping, relaxing at home or watching football.
