Serving Counties of: Warren, Barren, Logan, Allen, Simpson, Butler
Work from 15 up to 30 hours per month.
$11.00/hr-$13.00/hr
-Background checks and drug screening required.
-Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes or healthcare facilities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with medication reminders according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Prepare and serve meals, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Assist with transportation for medical appointments or social outings
Skills:
- Experience in hospice care, nursing, dementia care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
- Ability to provide direct support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals
