Wynn & Amy Esterline, Franchise Owners
Our Home Instead Senior Care story began many years ago. I, Wynn, was searching for something meaningful, a career and journey that I was passionate about. In the late 90’s my parents were caring for Great Aunt Helena. She lived in Monroe, Michigan and my parents were living in Manitou Beach, Michigan. It was a round trip of over two hours. Living with Parkinson’s disease she was only interested in living out the rest of her life in her home residence of more than forty years. It was difficult managing and supporting her wishes, like many families face. My parents were able to help her carry out her wishes. With this experience we knew that Helena wasn’t the only one that could use some extra assistance helping her remain safe and independent in her home. We spent more than a year researching Senior Care and Home Care. We found that the Home Instead Senior Care franchise network was the best option for us and the community that we serve. We have dedicated our life and the last ten years to helping clients and families just like ours.

Rakael Tyler, Client Care Coordinator
Rakael has been with HISC since 2004. Since then she has worked in various roles, currently as the Client Care Coordinator. Her favorite part of the job is helping clients to remain living in their own homes. Rakael is always willing to help, whether in the office, or with any of the clients’ needs. She is a relentless client advocate, always placing the needs of the clients first. Her role and never ending goal is to be the best community resource she can possibly be.

Aaron Pierce, Service Coordinator
Aaron was born and raised in Lansing and a proud father of four children. He loves outdoors and once hiked the Appalachian Trail barefoot. When he is not raising kids or hiking, he is working hard for our clients and caregivers as the Service Coordinator. Aaron loves people and this shows in his years of customer service experience. He is committed building relationships with and for our clients and caregivers.

Kristin Seegert, Bookeeper

Michelle Howe, On Call Supervisor
Michelle has been with Home Instead Senior Care since August 2008. She started out as a Care Professional and within 3 months, she became the On Call Supervisor. Over the years, she has been in various roles for the company. She often is nicknamed the “Jack of all trades”. Michelle has 3 kids and 10 grandkids. Michelle loves to travel. You can hear her saying she “loves seeing the U.S. through the windshield of my car”. We are so lucky to have Michelle on our team for as long as we have.

Leah Stalker, Recruiting Specialist
Leah joined Home Instead in May of 2023 as our Recruiting Specialist, but she wears many hats in the office. Raised in Laingsburg Michigan, she moved to Mt. Pleasant during her early adult life before settling down to call Lansing her home. She started working for McDonald's at a young age and worked her way all the way up to a General Manager. Through that experience she excelled in hiring, training, onboarding new employees, and retention. She is passionate about people! As our Recruiter, her passion is what drives her to find the perfect people to be a part of our culture and team. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, planning weekend trips around Michigan or Food Adventures she calls them, and playing video games with her friends and partner.
