We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Dementia Trainer, Presenter, and Content Developer to join our team. This role plays a vital part in improving the quality of care for our clients and their families.

Job Description:
As the Dementia Trainer, Presenter, and Content Developer, you will be responsible for educating our caregivers and staff on dementia care best practices. Your role involves creating and delivering training programs and developing educational content to support our mission of providing exceptional care to individuals with dementia.

Applicants for this position must possess a strong background in healthcare, with a specific emphasis on dementia training. Candidates with comprehensive experience and formal training in healthcare, particularly in dementia care, will be highly regarded. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a profound understanding of healthcare practices and a proven track record in dementia-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver comprehensive dementia care training programs to our caregivers, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide compassionate care. Conduct in-person and online training sessions, workshops, and seminars for our team members.
  • Content Development: Create and update training materials, guides, and resources related to dementia care. Develop engaging and informative presentations and e-learning modules.
  • Dementia Care Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in dementia care. Ensure that our training programs and content align with industry standards and evolving best practices.
  • Client and Family Support: Collaborate with our care teams to provide support and guidance to clients and their families dealing with dementia-related challenges.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements. Gather feedback from caregivers and participants to enhance training content and delivery. managing dementia-related conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, healthcare)
  • Certification in dementia care training or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in developing and delivering dementia and Parkinson's care training.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of current dementia care research and best practices.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with dementia.
