Meet Our Team

Erica P.,  Registered Nurse

Erica P., Registered Nurse

​Erica is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of healthcare experience. Working her way from CNA to LPN and now RN. She has an Associate's degree in nursing from Carl Sandburg College and is actively pursuing her BSN. She has a passion for working with the elderly and wants to assist clients to remain in their homes as long as possible. Erica knew she had a passion for taking care of people when she used to "grandma sit" as a teen to keep her great grandmother from having to enter a care facility. She also has two aunts who are LPN's and showed her the value of caring for people.

Erica and her husband Jason live in a small village in Illinois with their blended family of six kids. Five boys and one girl, every day is a new adventure. As a family they love to travel and experience new things.

Leah C

Leah is our Bookkeeper. She received her Master’s in Accounting from St. Ambrose University in Davenport and she received her B.A. from Western Illinois University in Moline. Leah has always wanted to work for a company that helps others. She is looking forward to taking the CPA exam in the not to distant future.

She was born and raised in Moline, Illinois. She enjoys traveling, watching movies and keeping her mind sharp with a variety of word and number puzzles.

Julie C

Julie is a Client Care Coordinator.  She was born in the Quad Cities. She spent many years in Arizona where she served for 14 years as a Caregiver and 17 years as a Care Coordinator.  Julie served as the primary Caregiver for her father during his battle with Alzheimer’s.  She has a passion for adding in a positive manner to the lives of others.  Julie has 2 adult sons and a granddaughter.  She enjoys historical museums, photography, cooking, and spending time with her family and her Golden Retriever.

Jennifer F

Jennifer is an Administrative Assistant with Home Instead. She previously worked as a caregiver after taking care of a family member. Before Home Instead, Jennifer was a stay-at-home mom until her children went to school. She then worked at the school as the kitchen manager. Jennifer loves to spend time with her family and watch her children play sports. Dekhockey and football are her favorites. Jennifer has three dogs: a Jack Russel Terrier, a black Lab, and a Rottweiler. Jennifer enjoys reading and spending time outside with her family. She was born and raised in the Iowa Quad Cities

Autumn H

Autumn serves as a Client Care Coordinator for the Home Instead office located in Bettendorf, IA. She studied Public Communications at Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL. Autumn is a licensed phlebotomist and holds a career diploma as an Emergency Medical Technician. She believes her role as a Care Coordinator gives her the unique privilege to personally impact the lives of others in their time of need. Autumn is an accomplished musician, veracious reader, and a loving dog mom to her French Bulldog, Eevee. She enjoys spending time outside and is a lover of all thing’s coffee. Her favorite quote and motto in life is, “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” 
Team member Penny

Penny K

Penny has been a key player since 2006. As a Compliance Coordinator she is responsible for ensuring that we are up to date with Licensing Requirements and Franchise Standards.

Penny was formerly our Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator where she was responsible for the hiring of our caregivers. Penny is committed to providing a positive caregiving experience and to continue being the employer of choice for seniors. She has a B.A. from Western Illinois University and was employed for the State of Illinois for over 32 years as a caseworker and in the later years a manager of training programs. Senior care became her second career as she watched her Mother-in -law suffered from dementia and other health issues.

Married to Jerry since 1969 and she has two daughters 20 years apart. She dearly loves her four grandsons and granddaughter, and feels blessed to work for a company that loves seniors.

Team member Debra

Debra L

Debra is our Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. She  has one child and two grandchildren. Her favorite things in life are Jesus Christ, her daughter and her family, and dragonflies. Debra loves spending time with people and getting to know them. She enjoys going out to dinner, watching movies, or listening to live music. She would like to spend more time volunteering at her church. Time with her grandchildren makes her the happiest she can be. She also loves purple roses or purple tulips.

Robin M

Robin is our HR Manager. She received her Associates in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Resources. She joins Home Instead with 16 years of experience in various areas of the human resources field. Robin looks forward to being part of a team that offers support to a company whose focus is on caring for others. She enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, 7 children between the two of them, and a current total count of 17 grandchildren but believes that there will be more!

Shana R

Shana is a Service Coordinator at Home Instead. She has been a CNA for 10 years.  She stayed at home with her two children for 11 years.  When she wanted to start working again, she looked and found Home Instead.  She has worked for Home Instead for 6 years.  She worked in the office as lead caregiver for a year and was an on-call supervisor.  She missed working with her clients so went back to caregiving full time.  Shana loves to watch her kids play sports and spend time with friends and family.  She three dogs two German Shepherds and a Lab.  Shana loves to relax by the pool and sit outside and be with nature.  Shana loves helping people and is excited about this new journey with Home Instead.

Nicole S

Nicole is a Service Coordinator at Home Instead. She has over four years of experience in the home health care industry, starting as a caregiver and advancing into her current role. Nicole moved to the Quad Cities after high school and is a graduate of Augustana College where she received two BA’s: one in Psychology and one in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.   

Nicole has a cat named Moose that she loves spoiling and spending time with. In her free time, Nicole enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, and connecting with family and friends. Nicole found her passion for helping people and serving others and cannot imagine her life in any other field. Her favorite part of the job is connecting with individuals and being a reliable part of their futures.

Vicky W

Vicky is the Administrative Assistant; she has 4 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Vicky worked in an assisted living facility as well as caring for loved ones with support of her family. Vicky enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 3 grandchildren very excited to know there is a new grandson due in November. Vicky enjoys the outdoors camping, fishing and long walks with her shih tzu/poodle, Buster. Vicky is excited for this opportunity to work with amazing people in this field and helping people in the community. 
Dr. Aaron & Ada Christopher

Dr. Aaron & Ada Christopher

Dr. Aaron and Ada Christopher are the Franchise Owners for Home Instead Senior Care Quad Cities. They have two children and live in Bettendorf. They both have a passion for working with seniors and making a positive impact in their community.

Ada has a Bachelor’s in Business and two Master’s Degrees; an MBA and a Masters of Accounting and Financial Management. Throughout her professional career, she has worked in a variety of leadership roles in the healthcare field and service organizations. This includes non-profits serving under-served populations and economically challenged families, as well as Federally Qualified Health Clinics. After watching her mom struggle to care for her grandmother, who had Alzheimer’s and other health issues, she came to realize that she wanted to be in the business of caring for seniors.

Aaron is a practicing Certified Public Accountant. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting and his PhD from Claremont Graduate University. He has worked in public accounting, as an accounting professor, and as the Chief Financial Officer for several large organizations. Aaron is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.
