Home Instead is now hiring a full time Lead Case Manager Homecare!

    • Objective:

      The Lead Case Manager is responsible for successfully directing and coordinating all activities associated with the care of potential and existing clients as well as leadership and management of client care team.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Reflect the core values of Associated Services LLC (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise).
      • Achieve the annual operational plan’s revenues, gross profit, profitability and other operational goals by the stated milestones.
      • Provide leadership and management of the client care services team, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding clients and achievement of the operational goals.
      • Manage outcomes of department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.
      • Develop and maintain a structured, measurable and inclusive Quality Assurance program that builds trust with each client and CAREGiverSM.
      • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with referral sources in the community.
      • Identify where additional support is needed and take a “hands on” approach to providing the support, whether it’s scheduling, recruiting, marketing, client care or compliance.
      • When an employee is out, fill in for the employee.
      • In an emergency situation, fill in for caregiver until another caregiver arrives.
      • Investigate and resolve client/caregiver/employee incidents, issues and problems that are escalated.
      • Verify that the company is in compliance with all regulations - Franchise Regulations, Department of Health, Aging Waiver, Department of Labor, OSHA, EEOC.
      • Review all new employee files and new client files to ensure compliance.
      • Travel to facilities to conduct marketing presentations and travel to client homes to conduct care consults and client care evaluations.
      • Lead and manage workers' compensation Safety Committee.
      • Lead and manage all employee training - New Caregiver Training, Ongoing Caregiver Training, Personal Care Training, Alzheimer's/Dementia Training.
      • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.
      • Perform On Call duties, as assigned.

      Secondary Responsibilities:

      • Maintain and establish strong relationships with neighboring franchise owners.
      • Maintain and establish strong relationships with the Home Instead, Inc. Business Performance team.
      • Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary for the successful operation of a Home Instead franchise office.

      Education/Experience Requirements:

      • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
      • Must have worked for a home care agency and directly supervised other employees - home care industry experience is a must
      • Two to Four years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
      • Must possess a valid driver’s license

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      • This position will be responsible for overseeing all of the functions performed by the Client Care Team. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, coaching employee’s performance; problem resolution while seeking positive outcomes.

      Salary $18/hr to $22/hr  depending on experience.  Sick Time and Paid Time Off for Full Time after probationary period. No medical benefits.
