We decided to stay in the home we love, but we could not have done so without the safety and care we are receiving from the home care women. The care takers are reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and well trained. We are both 89 yrs. old and this was the smartest move we have made. Support given to our care givers by their home office is on-going - a wonderful nurse makes periodic visits and is available when called upon by us or our caregivers. Highly recommend Home Instead to all seniors needing support.
Melissa has been a great asset to our day. She converses with Jeff on everything he wants to talk about. Melissa has him playing card games which engages him and expands his interests. One of the best things Melissa does is reads to Jeff. He has always been a reader until the last year. Now he is enjoying stories again. She is a tremendous help for me as I am comfortable leaving her in charge when I run errands or go to appointments. Thank you for sending us Melissa!
Our caregiver Tracy is amazing!!!!! She has an abundance of positive energy and engages my mother in law. They do puzzles and painting together. She does some lite house work mom’s laundry bath ect. Cooks dinner for her if needed. Most of all we feel as she truly cares about our family.
Tracie is very energetic and positive with my mom. She’s attentive and ensure she is well taken care of.
Suzette is a very caring person and her kind, gentle personality is so suited for caregiving. She has made both my and Jim’s life easier by helping us four days a week. She helps Jim make the bed, fold his laundry, care for himself in the bathroom and other daily personal chores. She reads with Jim and plays cards with him and reviews family photos to keep his mind as active as can be. We are both very appreciative of her help and kindness.
Linda is very good with my wife April. A nice companion for her, and they do things together.
We had several outstanding senior care personnel over two years to assist with caring for mom. Debra was with us during this time and mom looked forward to her visits. She was reliable, responsible, an amazing, caring person. It gave me some free time as a caregiver and I never had to worry about mom. Thank you.

Had 3 different caregivers, 3 different personalities and different methods of care. All 3 women extremely caring and loving. My mom is a difficult person to deal with and her dementia made it difficult for caregiver.
I have used Home Instead on and off for the past 2 years. Their staff and caregivers are the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. They are always there to work with me whenever I need them. They are the caregivers you want when caring for your loved one.

My mother has a Home Instead employee come to her assisted living apartment once a week as a companion. They do lunch, do a little light shopping. It gets my mom out of the house and Mom has a friend in Sue, who is very patient with her. Recently Sue helped Mom put her Christmas decorations out in her apartment. Home Instead's services also provide a break and peace of mind for me.
All the aides were very professional, competent, and compassionate.

She made superb placements in Consuelo and Donna, two very different individuals, who were able to establish an immediate connection to mom. Both women were well-trained and very professional.
