2022 Care Professional of the Year - Laura B.
Eight years ago, Laura began looking for a different job from the one she had. She wanted a different experience from manufacturing goods. She wanted to be with people, helping them maintain a better life, one that’s happy and healthy. Laura talked to a friend who knew about Home Instead and the work we do with aging adults. Laura was interested so she applied. During the hiring process, Laura told us that she loves hearing the stories that aging adults tell of their life experiences. She told us she loves making people smile. So started her employment with Home Instead.
Laura has learned a lot as a Care Pro. She has learned that everyone is different, so she does her best to do things to their expectation. She knows now that sociability helps these aging adults have a better life, so she is quick to interact with them and listen to their stories of living overseas and how they registered their marriage in 5 different countries. Laura would not hesitate to tell you that being a good Care Pro is hard work, but the rewards are great!
We are honored to award Laura our 2022 Care Professional of the Year. We wish her many more years of success with these aging adults and all the others that she will provide exceptional care for.
