Home Instead History & Mission

Helping Seniors in North Peel for Years

In Home Senior Care in Brampton, Halton Hills, Inglewood, Norval, Georgetown, Glen Williams, Limehouse, Peel Village

The Home Instead Senior Care Brampton location opened it's doors to business in January 2006. Our franchise is locally owned and operated, giving us a chance to serve the needs of the seniors in our community, allowing us to give back to these great individuals who have helped shaped the society we live in.

It's that simple. This is all we do and because the homecare services your loved one or friend needs must come from someone you trust locally. Our office is passionate about exceeding the needs of the elderly in our community. We're not a giant corporation run from the top down - we're a community-based, friendly and responsive office right here in the local community.

Our CAREGivers® are our greatest asset. They are trained, certified as Personal Support Workers, ready and able to assist our clients any way they can. Our CAREGivers provide assistance to our clients and their families with Activities of Daily Living; activities that used to be simple. Tasks like grabbing a can of soup from the top shelf, opening the mail, reading a book, folding laundry, tying shoelaces or scrapbooking family history are not as easy as they used to be for many seniors.

No matter where seniors live, in their home, in assisted living facilities or even nursing homes, Home Instead Senior Care is currently providing thousands of hours of senior home care services annually to the Brampton, Halton Hills, Inglewood, Norval, Georgetown, Glen Williams, Limehouse, Peel Village.

These senior home care services may include assistance with trips to the doctor, reminders to take the right medication at the right time, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, shopping and even Alzheimer's care. The result is companionship allowing seniors to feel safe and independent while they age in place in the home they've lived in for years.

Our office is a proud member of the Ontario Home Care Association, The Canadian Home Care Association, The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce, The Canadian Association of Retired People and The Brampton Board of Trade. We are a certified provider for the Department of Veteran Affairs Canada, where we are proud to serve the great veterans that made this fine country; Canada. In 2008, our team was a finalist as an Emerging Business in Brampton at the 12th Annual Business Achievement Awards for the City of Brampton.

To Us, It’s Personal®

Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!

That’s why, to us, senior care is personal. We’re passionate about expanding the world’s capacity to care.
