Owner

Caitlyn Hampson, Franchise Owner

Caitlyn joined the Home Instead family in 2010 as an Administrative Assistance in New Hampshire, where she spent ten years learning all aspects of the business, culminating in her appointment as the Executive Director. She is forever grateful for the opportunity to learn the business and see the direct impact our services have on families. This opportunity cemented her decision to become a Franchise Owner. On October 1, 2019, Caitlyn became the Franchise Owner of Home Instead offices covering the North Shore and Essex County in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She and her team reap the satisfaction of helping to improve the lives of clients and their families.

Prior to joining the Home Instead network, Caitlyn worked for a family law attorney while attending the University of New Hampshire, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and exploring new places. She lives with her 3 fur babies – 2 dogs and 1 cat – in the area where she grew up.

Jackie Wright, Engagement and Training Coordinator

Jackie Wright, RN, started her career with Home Instead Senior Care in the Spring of 2013. Her responsibilities include training/education classes for the caregivers to provide safe and compassionate care to our clients along with quality assurance visits to our clients/caregivers to ensure their needs are being met.

Prior to joining the Home Instead Senior Care team, she worked for a medical and pharmacy company, long-term care facility and as a Medical/Surgical and Cardiac Critical Care Registered Nurse at a hospital.

Jackie has always enjoyed helping others. Working as a patient advocate and managing the delivery of healthcare services has provided her with the necessary skills, both personally and professionally, to enhance the clients and family’s quality of life.

Jackie grew up in the area, and has had the opportunity to help several clients and families who she knew from years past.

Bianca Flores, Service Manager

Bianca started with Home Instead in 2019 as our Scheduling Coordinator. She grew up in Lawrence, graduated from Greater Lawrence Vocational Tech and worked as a CAREGiver for 5 years before joining the office team.

Working for Home Instead is personally important to Bianca because we are able to impact many lives for our clients and their family, giving them opportunities to stay at home. It’s an overall rewarding career with a lot of opportunity to grow, while knowing the matches you make between clients and CAREGivers change lives.

In her free time, Bianca enjoys spending time with her son Bryson, spending time with her family (including traveling to visit family in Florida), cooking, baking and shopping. She enjoys being the hostess for holidays, birthdays, and special events.

Sara Decker, Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

Sara started with Home Instead in 2020 as a CAREGiver. Soon after she joined us in the field, we realized what an asset she’d be in the office to onboard new CAREGivers and help support our current CAREGivers in the field, so she became our Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. She has 4 years of experience in early child development and over 4 years in working in day-programs and residential programs with seniors. She also volunteered with special needs children in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

She is very clear of what her goal in life is and this is helping others. She is fulfilling this passion by carefully hiring amazing CAREGivers to care for our senior community.

On her free time Sara enjoys cooking for her family and friends. She loves spending time with her Golden Retriever, Hugo. Hugo himself is being trained to be a therapy/Service dog and the goal is to have him volunteer for Senior Homes, Group Homes, among others.

Ashley started with Home Instead in December 2020 as our Administrative Assistant. Ashley is usually the first face you see or voice you hear when contacting our office!  She is extremely organized, and we are proud to have her along with her extensive customer service experience.  Most recently, she was a Customer Service Supervisor with Gemline in Lawrence (a promotional product distributor serving companies in the US, Canada and Europe).

Home Instead’s mission to provide quality care throughout the North Shore is in line with her personal beliefs and interest for a fulfilling and meaningful career.

Yahaira Garcia, Client Service Manager

Yahaira joined our team in July 2021 as our Client Service Manager after years in the industry. She is responsible for coordinating our client and employee schedules, creating and maintaining relationships within the community and supporting our field staff.  Prior to joining our team, she worked for other home care providers in the area to help support families who need care and employ individuals who excel at providing the care needed.

Yahaira attended Northern Essex Community College and participated in the Medical Assistance & Phlebotomy program.  She started in the home care industry as a Personal Care Assistant and then transitioned into the office as a scheduler.  She continued her professional growth in the industry working her way up to a manager.

When you meet Yahaira you will quickly learn that she strongly believes that home care provides individuals a better quality of life rather than a nursing home.

When Yahaira isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family (her kids Zeek & Yari) and taking family trips to Florida.  She loves to dance Bachata, and her favorite color is yellow.

To contact Yahaira, you can call her at 978-725-5995 or email her at Yahaira.garcia@homeinstead.com

CAREGivers

Home Instead CAREGivers are the foundation of our company. They are the first line of service which is why we pride ourselves on only hiring the most experienced and qualified CAREGivers in the industry. We go above and beyond the hiring requirements mandated by the state when screening our caregivers. CAREGivers are thoroughly screened before hiring through a state wide criminal background check, a national criminal background check, elder abuse check, RMV checks, previous employment and reference verification, and drug tests.

We employ a wide range of caregivers to fit our clients individual needs. These CAREGivers provide caring companionship and quality personal care while encouraging independence. We have CAREGivers who are experienced in handling advanced chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s & dementia, Parkinson’s, Diabetes and COPD. Our caregivers are experienced in assisting with colostomy, urostomy, and oxygen. They receive support from our office team 24/7.

We provide initial training that offers over 50 hours of unparalleled education as well as monthly continuing education training. Our goal is to keep them informed with the latest care advances. Our Client Journal and subsequent Life Journal is a centerpiece of our training program in an effort to keep our clients independent in their homes for as long as possible.

All of our CAREGivers share a common desire to make a difference in the life of a senior.

On-Call Coordinator

As we answer the telephone 24 hours a day to ensure that all Client and CAREGiver needs are met in a timely fashion, our On Call Coordinator may be one of the friendly voices that you hear after regular business hours, on the weekends or during holiday hours when the office is otherwise closed. We're happy to assist any and all Client & CAREGiver needs while on-call.
