April 2021 CAREGiver of the Month – Leisa N.
Leisa joined Home Instead in September 2020 and has been a great addition to our team! She feels she has always been a nurturer having gained a lot of experience caring for family, and finds professional caregiving a natural fit and very rewarding job.
What she loves most about her work is that her Home Instead family is always there for her offering a supportive environment where she can thrive and grow. Asked to share a favorite caregiving experience or memory, Leisa says, “I walked into a client’s home and saw their face just light up. It was such a beautiful moment of connection, and I knew I was truly making a difference in someone’s life.”
A Denver native and proud mom of four, Leisa has had a deep connection to nature since she was very young and loves being outdoors hiking, fishing, and gardening. As an avid learner, Leisa has earned certificates in floral design, horticulture, and therapeutic massage. In her free time, she enjoys watching documentaries and expanding her interest in physiology and psychology.
