August 2022 Professional Caregiver of the Month – Deb G.
Deb joined our team back in 2010 which means she has been on our team for 12 years! She began professional caregiving 25 years ago and says that her love of taking care of others has made this a life-long career for her. Deb has 3 children, 6 grandchildren. When she isn’t taking amazing care of her clients, she enjoys computer games, Celtic music, and her 3 cats. When asked how making a difference in the lives of others has made a difference in hers, she says that providing the level of care to people that allows them to be safe and happy in the home they love is what brings her joy and makes a difference in her own life. Through her many years of professional caregiving, Deb has much advice and wisdom to share, but the one piece of valuable advice she would share with other caregivers is to be yourself. Be confident in what you are doing, and this will make the clients feel safe and secure in your care.
