Danielle - Q1 2023 Care Pro of the Quarter
Danielle was chosen due to her commitment and dedication to the care and welfare of her clients. She is always on time and willing to stay later if she anticipates her client needs additional assistance.
Danielle has taken the time to create a compressive detailed “Know your client” document which assures that Care Pros covering shifts when she is out, are well informed and successful in the care of the client.
When one of Danielle's clients was moved to a short-term Respite facility for 4-weeks, Danielle followed to continue to service her while in the facility.
Danielle also transported the spouse to and from the facility so that they could visit. As a result of the care provided by Danielle, when the daughter needed to go out of town for another 4-weeks, the decision was made to allow Danielle and other Home Instead Care Pros to care for the client in the home instead of the respite facility.
Although Danielle has other responsibilities outside of work, she will flex with her availability to help cover shifts for her client. She uses the app for all punches, responds to emails, texts, and phone calls regarding all matters.
Danielle is a team player, other Care Pros have commented that she is kind, respectful, easy to work with and is open to sharing her experience with her client so that when they are to cover shifts for her, they are well informed and successful.
Danielle completes all required training on time and has completed continued training as offered on empower to further along her own personal growth and knowledge as a caregiver.
Danielle has proven to be a seasoned Care Pro; she is a self-starter who presents well when assigned to cover a client she has never worked for. Danielle is able and willing to pass on her skills as a caregiver buy training her fellow caregivers in the field. Danielle is responsible…she will alert the office when seeing potential issues brewing with her client and will offer suggestions with challenges with the care of the client.
These are the many reasons why Danielle has been selected as our 1st quarter “Care Pro Of The Quarter”!!! Congratulations Danielle!!
Menbere - Q4 2022 Care Pro of the Quarter
We would like to recognize our selection for the “Care Pro Of The Quarter” for the 4th quarter of this year. We would like to say congratulations to Menbere B.!
Menbere is very hardworking, polite, and clients are comforted by her presence. Whenever we called on her in need of coverage, she stepped up to the plate to assist. Menbere seldom turns down any shifts and is willing to work with any type of client. She demonstrates an "owner of the business" attitude by exceeding her client's expectations. She is always in tune with her clients' needs. Menbere is skilled in all types of care from companion care to specialized services. She completes all trainings on time and never misses a clock in/out. Menbere has the heart of a Care Professional. Thank you Menbere!
Candie - Q3 2022 Care Pro of the Quarter
We would like to recognize our selection for the “Care Pro Of The Quarter” for the 3rd quarter of this year. We would like to say congratulations to Dulce (Candie) Hollenbach!
Candie has demonstrated through her hard work as a proven example on what it means to be a great leader at Home Instead. She started with us earlier this year, and she has been instrumental in the short time that she has been here.
Candie is always very attentive to her clients and in tune with their needs as individuals. She has been a tremendous help by always being willing to cover shifts, as well as, working with clients with various needs. You will never catch Candie without a smile! She always has a very cheerful disposition and the clients we send her to work with express that she helps lift their spirits whenever she is around. These attributes that Candie displays each and every day is what will guarantee our success going forward!
Candie is very committed to the care and welfare of her clients. She has been beyond cooperative and a team player flexing her availability to help cover shifts for her clients. She uses the app for all punches, responds to emails, texts, and phone calls regarding all matters.
Candy has demonstrated her leadership qualities by being a self-starter; she has proven since the moment that she has been with us that she can handle any situation that is sent her way. We have all the confidence that we can send her to a new client and know that she is able to build a strong and trusting bond to fulfill the client’s needs as well as meet the family’s expectations all at once.
Candie has a client who absolutely loves and adores her. She has helped him gain confidence again to live alone. Each time the family calls our office about anything, they feel like they must take a few moments to rant on how much they love and appreciate her. She has formed such a strong bond that if it were up to him, he would have her there all the time. Candie is very attentive and responsive in her position. She always answers with a smile on her face that is easily recognizable over the phone. Candie is always extremely pleasant and demonstrates an admirable demeanor. Candie has expressed that she doesn’t care how much she works, just as long as she gets to help people.

Gail- Q2 2022 CAREGiver of the Quarter
I would like to recognize our “CAREGiver Of The Quarter” for the second quarter of this year…Gail Gerhard! Gail has been a valued part of team since 2019.
Gail has a very warm and inviting personality, her peers (other caregivers) have commented that she is kind, respectful, easy to work with and is open to sharing. Her client feels she is respectful and according to her, “very nice”.
Gail is very committed to the care and welfare of her client. She is always on time and willing to stay later if she anticipates her client needs her to stay. Although Gail has other responsibilities outside of work, she is flexible with her availability to help cover shifts for her client. She responds to emails, texts, and phone calls regarding all matters. Gail completes all required training on time and has completed continued training as offered on Empower to further along her own personal growth and knowledge as a caregiver.
Gail is a self-starter; she is a seasoned caregiver with a tenure of 3 years plus as a caregiver with our franchise. With her extensive training and experience, we can send her to a new client with the confidence of knowing that the client would be very happy and well taken care of by her. Gail takes it upon herself to learn the needs of the client and use her best judgement to make decisions regarding the client. Gail taking the initiative has utilized Empower to take additional training to help educate herself to understand how to best help and care for her client.
Gail created a very special bond with her client who trusts her. Because of the relationship, Gail has been successful in getting the client to leave the home with her to attend the needed routine/urgent doctors’ appointments.

Nayla - Q1 2022 CAREGiver of the Quarter
I would like to take this time to recognize our first “CAREGiver Of The Quarter” recipient for this year…Nayla!
Nayla has been with Home Instead since June of 2021. She started with us during a time when we were challenged with changes in our business due to the COVID epidemic. She was one of several committed CAREGivers that helped us through those extremely challenging times.
Here is are few reasons why Nayla was chosen as the “CAREGiver-Of-The-Quarter”…
• When Nayla visits the office she always has a smile on her face and has a positive disposition. • She prides herself on being on time and willing to stay later when needed by a client. • Nayla willingly moves around her personal schedule to help us cover last minute shifts. • She does a great job of utilizing the “clock-in” app for all shifts. • Nayla promptly responds to emails, texts, and phone calls regarding all matters. • She will always let the office know if she is running late, and if needed she willingly stays later to make up the time. • Nayla is very flexible and eager to work, and cover shifts as needed. • She completes all training on time. • Nayla is a self-starter; we can send her to a new client with all confidence that the client will be very happy. • Nayla takes it upon herself to learn the needs of the client and use her best judgement to make decisions regarding the client. • She creates a very special bond with all of her clients. Here is feedback from one of her very satisfied clients…
“I know I have offered my family’s appreciation for what Nayla does for our brother before, but we specifically wanted to let you know of invaluable service she provided to us yesterday. My brother’s internet connection is our lifeline to him since my sisters and I are many miles away from him. His internet connection went out over the weekend. Yesterday, I contacted the internet provider but given that I wasn’t on site couldn’t follow through with their suggestions and the attempts to fix the issue solely on their end not only didn’t fix the connection but took his landline out as well. Now we were in big trouble. Once Nayla arrived, I called the internet provider again, and she worked with them to resolve all the issues. This morning my brother and I had no difficulty with either his phone or computer. I can’t emphasize how critical this was for our family! Nayla initiates, and sticks with the problem until it is solved and does it all in good spirits. We couldn’t ask for a better, more caring, careful assistant for my brother. We are so grateful and appreciative. She is also a great coach, helping him through the steps of activities he no longer clearly remembers. We believe she has instilled some new confidence in him. We all look forward to ‘Nayla days” knowing how happy my brother is to have her help and companionship, as well as the things she does to make my sisters and my lives easier. We rest easier knowing she is there. Thank you for allowing me to share this experience with you.”

Rhett & Ricardo - Q4 2021 CAREGivers of the Quarter
Rhett and Ricardo "The Dynamic Duo" have been selected as our 4th “CAREGivers of the Quarter”!
Rhett and Ricardo’s client is on HOSPICE and was given a 2 to 3 weeks life expectancy, he stopped eating, interacting and was completely bedbound. It’s now 6-months later and our client is still here. He’s eating, drinking, interacting and is able to sit up. According to the spouse, she believes it’s partly because of “The Boys” which is her pet name for Ricardo and Rhett. She commented that these two men are the kindest most caring men she has ever known and that they not only provide care to her husband but that they provide a great deal of emotional support to her and that she can’t imagine what she would have done without them.
Some additional comments from the clients spouse...
"It is such a pleasure to have Ricardo here as a caregiver for my husband. He is kind and gentle, and very attuned to my husband’s needs. He is very observant and quick to pick up on any little nuances in behavior changes."
"Ricardo doesn't just wait to be asked to do something; he is always looking for ways to be helpful to him and to me. Additionally, he has developed a very friendly rapport with both of us. My husband is bed-bound, and Ricardo is constantly checking on him to see if there is anything he needs or wants. He has a genuinely caring attitude, which I am certain he displays to his other clients as well. We feel very lucky to have Ricardo here."
Rhett demonstrates his commitment to our clients by being flexible; willing to move around his schedule to be able to service his clients. He did not hesitate to come into the office for additional training when it was necessary to cover a client with special needs. Rhett’s clients are extremely happy with the service he provides. One client said, “Rhett is a great choice.” Another client said, “Rhett is a very nice young man, he’s very competent and he has a heart for the work.” Rhett never calls out and he is never late to his shifts.

Mary Kay - Q3 2021 CAREGiver of the Quarter
Mary Kay has been selected as our 3rd “CAREGiver of the Quarter”!
It takes a caring person with a special heart to do this type of work…really, it’s a calling! A calling that not everyone can answer…it takes a unique person like Mary Kay!

It takes a special person with a special heart to care for our seniors. It’s not just a job, but a calling! It requires patience, commitment, and a genuine love to care for others.
