Meet Our Team

After starting our family and living in the Greater Columbia, SC area for over 10 years, we fell in love with Home Instead during our time working with Home Instead in Michigan. After spending 3 years there, it was our desire to return home and invest in this community that we care so much about. With Samantha’s background as a RN and Brad’s experience in the industry, this was a perfect fit to love and serve this area. The relationships with our clients, their families, and our amazing CAREGivers is what we enjoy so much about Home Instead. We’re striving to enhance the lives of seniors and their loved ones in the Greater Columbia area.

Prior to joining Home Instead, I served as a Vice President with Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, South Carolina. My wife, Alyssa, currently works as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with Prisma Health in Columbia. We were both raised in Lexington and feel called to serve the people of the Midlands. After many years working in hospital settings, we both felt the need to work with seniors and loved ones in a way that honors not just our clients, their families, but also our amazing CAREGivers.  

I am a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana who fell in love with the Columbia area when my family moved here in 2019. After joining Home Instead, I realized what an honor and opportunity I had to serve the aging adults in this community. As a child and teenager, I gravitated each Sunday at church to the elderly for a hug, a smile, and to find out how their week had gone. Joining the Home Instead Team felt like a perfect fit for me. In my free time I love to cook a good Gumbo or Jambalaya and spend time with my husband and children on the Lake. 

As the HR Coordinator here at Home Instead I recruit, interview, and hire the CAREGivers who work for us. I’m originally from Pennsylvania but have lived here in South Carolina for the past 3 years. During the summers in college, I worked at a camp for adults and kids with varying disabilities and I loved caring for the people I met there. So, after college I became a certified nursing assistant and worked in a skilled nursing facility for almost 2 years before going back to school. I love working on finding the best CAREGivers for our clients! My passions include science and history and I love reading, listening to podcasts, and making art.

Tiffany has worked in all facets of healthcare from being a CNA to helping build and run memory care units. She joined Home Instead in 2022 and enjoys spending time with all of the clients and ensuring that they are getting the highest level of care to add to their quality of life with their care team. Her goal is to make sure that with their care team, that their limitations do not limit them. In her spare time her and her husband are busy raising their 5 children on their small family farm, going fishing, spending time at church, watching football, boating on Lake Murray or just a quiet evening with family. She is also completing her Bachelors degree in Business Administration. 

China joined the Home Instead team in April 2022 after relocating from Florence, SC. China brings forth 10 years of administrative and bedside experience.

At Home Instead, China is one of our Staffing Coordinators. China provides a listening ear and a caring word to allow our clients and caregivers to know they can rely on her for help. She does her best to ensure the Clients and Caregivers are matched perfectly for one another.

China is a native of Lexington where she lives with her two children, Kingston & London. She enjoys boating on the lake, baking and hanging out with her friends and family. China obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Health Care Administration from Francis Marion University.

 

I joined the team in 2023 after working previously with another home care provider in Columbia, SC as the ICS Manager. I have over 10 years of experience in the medical field ranging from PCA, EMS, and Home Care. I am passionate about helping others and making sure the needs of those she services are met. At Home Instead, I serve as our Staffing Coordinator. As an imperative part of the team, I meet with new Care Givers to pair them with the clients that would be a best fit. I have a son, Hunter, who is my biggest pride and joy. I enjoy walking the riverwalk, painting, and hanging out with family and friends. 

I joined Home Instead in November of 2022 after relocating from Washington state in April. I have worked in the Home Care and Home Health industry for 20 years and have done a little bit of everything, from caregiving to branch management.  As the service coordinator, my main goal is to provide excellent customer service to both clients and CAREGivers alike, and to make sure the clients are staffed with the best fit CAREGivers available. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

Shauntavia was born and raised here in Columbia South Carolina. She joined Home Instead in 2022 after working in home health care for 4 years. She enjoys working as a team to help out and making sure all of our clients are getting top-level care in the comfort of their own home. She gained a passion for helping seniors after having to care for elderly family members.  And she enjoys stepping into difficult situations where "Life happened" and she gets the opportunity to introduce a new Care Pro or fill in a gap herself. She attended college at Strayer University and Ultimate Medical Academy. She has two beautiful daughters and they love to travel, listen to music and cooking. 

Hi! I’m Brandi. I joined the Home Instead team in 2023. While in high school, I worked towards becoming a CNA. After graduation I attended college to pursue my nursing degree. Working in the healthcare field has always been the dream. Whether it be in a clinical or office setting. Working with seniors and children have always been the most fulfilling.

At Home Instead, I am one of the staffing/service coordinators. My priority is to provide the best customer service possible. I want the clients, their families, & our caregivers to know that I care and I am here to help.

I was born and raised here in West Columbia. I have two children, Ayden and Ava. And in my spare time I enjoy getting caught up in a good book/movie, visiting new places, and being outdoors with my kids.

I joined our Home Instead Team in 2022, after previously working as a Physical Education and Health Teacher for seven years in Charleston County.  I am from Columbia and love being back home where I can follow my passions.  I have a Master's in Public Health and I am glad to get back to my roots in the medical field and helping others in their everyday lives. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Hello, My name is Chidera Wilson. Everyone Calls me Chi. I joined the Home Instead team in January 2023. I was born in Delaware and raised in Philadelphia. I recently just graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology as a student athlete at Claflin University.  I joined Home Instead as a Care Pro and now I'm working in the office as a part of the HR and Staffing Team.  I love taking care of our seniors and excited to continue helping them in their everyday lives. In my spare time I enjoy bowling, hiking, working out, traveling and watching movies.
