Bill Mishkin, Owner

After many years of entrepreneurship in different industries, Bill was looking to find a place where he can make a difference in people’s lives. Having dealt with issues with seniors in his own family and their care during declining years, senior care hits close to home. That's why his mission with Home Instead Senior Care fuels his passion to bring about the best in care to Melrose and the surrounding communities.

Bill is married, has two children and a grandchild. He is also active with hobbies consisting of skiing, running, cycling, and is involved in multiple charities.

Judy Mishkin, Assistant Director of Care Management

Judy, Bill's wife, is pleased to join the home office staff as part of the management team, assisting in staffing coordination, customer service, and administrative support. She and Bill grew up together in a small town in MA and graduated in the same high school year. After high school, Judy attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned degrees in English, French, and a Masters in Secondary Education. After a 30-year career in public education as a middle and high school French, Spanish and English teacher, she has transitioned into her current role at Home Instead. Like so many others, Judy had a personal experience with the wonderful 24/7 care her father received at home with compassionate, competent caregivers for his mobility issues. "To us, it's personal" is our company motto to which we aspire with everything we do.

Wendy Flynn, Director of Business & Finance

Prior to joining Home Instead Senior Care, Wendy's background was in Operations and Purchasing as well as Project Management in the high-tech semiconductor field. She very much enjoys being in the senior care industry now and making a difference. Wendy handles finances, billing, and payroll as well as being involved in all aspects of Client Care; including setting up new clients and managing current ones. When she is not working, Wendy spends time with her husband and three active teenage boys. She enjoys family time, the beach, reading, and outdoor activities.

Joanne Anastasiades, Director of Care Management

Joanne brings considerable experience in staff management, customer service, and administrative support. Prior to joining Home Instead Senior Care, Joanne held supervisory positions in management consulting, education, and retail. She has also taken an active role in the healthcare plan for elders within her immediate family. Joanne supervises our staff of caregivers and manages all client schedules. Her tireless passion for taking care of people, along with her gift of patience and ability to maintain a calm demeanor is exhibited everyday at Home Instead. When Joanne is not working or fulfilling her on-call supervisory duties, she enjoys cooking for (and with) her family, entertaining friends and taking well-deserved beach vacations.

Catherine Gomez, Admin Assistant to Care Management

Catherine joined Home instead in 2016.  She became interested in becoming a Caregiver after caring for her grandmother who suffered from dementia.  During her time with Home Instead, she has transitioned to Lead Caregiver and has become an integral part of the office staff.  Catherine has a degree in Drafting and Design as well as Medical Billing and Coding.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her 2 daughters and their love for all Disney things.

Monique Ringuette, Director of Operations

Monique brings over 25 years of experience in Office Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Project Management, and Procurement. Monique has worked in a variety of industries but spent significant time in the IT industry. Monique handles a wide range of responsibilities but is currently focused on Recruitment & Retention.

When Monique is not at work, she likes to spend time with her friends and extensive family, especially her young great nephews and nieces.

Lora Lavigne, Community Liaison Nurse

Lora has been providing health care services for 34 years.  Lora began her career as a CNA taking care of her grandmother.  She then graduated as an LPN working in Alzheimer Care Units and as a Field Supervisor in Homecare. Lora has enjoyed the countless lifelong relationships she has built with Seniors and their families. She is committed to providing quality care to Seniors.  When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, the beach, outdoor activities and exercising.

Christina Fitzpatrick, Client Care Coordinator

Christina brings immense compassion and the ability to understand the challenges families experience while supporting and caring for senior family members. She has personal experience supporting elderly family members of her own. Christina studied at Bridgewater State University and earned a degree in Humanities & Social Sciences. She is devoted to helping others and has experience in psychoeducation/therapeutic counseling and service coordination. Personally, Christina enjoys watching and attending Boston Bruins hockey games, woodworking, and nurturing the relationships with people around her.
