Christine Krasnansky and Ron Krasnansky, Governing Body/Board of Directors

Ron impacts the community through his efforts to improve the quality of life for senior adults as they age. The quality standards of Home Instead Senior Care are recognized nationwide and the local offices set the Standards of Excellence in the industry. All of the Vero Beach CAREGiver staff are continually educated, trained, and screened through many background checks. In requiring this level of quality, Ron and Christine allow thousands of seniors and their families in the local area to enjoy peace of mind, independence, and dignity. Ron is a hands-on owner with an exemplary caring spirit. He is committed to improving the lives of our Vero Beach seniors.

Ron and Christine Krasnansky both graduated from Penn State University. As co-owners of this franchise, they share a deep commitment to providing excellent homecare and to fulfilling our mission:

Kimberly Simmons, General Manager

Kim joins our Vero Beach team as our General Manager with a passion for helping our senior community.  For over 25 years, Kim has been focused on helping seniors discover and enjoy healthier, happier lives. Kim has nine years of previous home health and assisted living management experience and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, as well as a Certified CORE Administrator with her education foundation in Health Science and Healthcare Administration.  As a part of our caring team, Kim is dedicated to supporting an excellent work environment for our CAREGivers, who are the heart of our business, and educating the community about resources – all while growing the office. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her husband, pets, and being outdoors in the tropical paradise of Florida that she calls home.

Vivian Walter, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Vivian comes to us with over 10 years of Recruitment and Human Resource experience. Vivian is responsible for building and supporting our community by recruiting quality CAREGivers. She is involved in their onboarding and orientation as they join our Home Instead team. Vivian also oversees our retention plan as she mentors and strengthens new and old CAREGivers in their training and skill-set needs. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors, and with family and friends.

Tanilya Martin, Home Care Consultant

Tanilya first started her journey as a CNA in a Rehabilitation Center until she found Home Instead. As our Home Care Consultant, she meets with all the new clients and families interested in services by completing consultations to assist in resolutions for each in-home care need. Quality assessments are performed regularly to ensure services continue to meet the clients’ needs. In addition to being an essential part of “team Vero Beach,” Tanilya is a wife, and mother to four beautiful baby girls. She is both “Volleyball Mom” and “Soccer Mom,” and enjoys spending family time at the river.

Tami Vieira, Service Coordinator

Tami is dedicated to finding the right CAREGiver for our clients. One of her often-stated sayings is, “Scheduling is like a puzzle. You have to find the right fit.” Being a former CAREGiver herself she understands the importance of building the relationship between our CAREGivers and Clients. She always had a passion for helping others and finds that being the Service Coordinator for Home Instead not only fills a need for our clients but also a need within herself. Tami moved here from New England three years ago and is loving the warm weather and sunshine here in Florida. She enjoys taking long rides with her husband in their Polaris Slingshot, and getting together for dinner with friends.

Liz Dorso, RN, Learning & Development Coordinator- CAREGiver Supervisor

Liz has been a nurse for 36 years and has worked in home health care for over 25 years, both as a visiting nurse and in a supervisory capacity. She is excited to orient and provide skills-training to all our new CAREGivers, and offer hands-on, individualized training as needed. She is passionate about ensuring CAREGivers have the knowledge and support they need to provide quality care to our clients. In her free time, Liz enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and cooking.

Chasity DeHart, Operations/Finance Coordinator

Chasity has longevity with Home Instead - 14 years of experience in both the PA and FL offices, in different roles. Having experience as a CAREGiver, she has a personal connection to her work and realizes the impact our service makes in the community for our seniors and their families. In her current role as Operations/Finance Coordinator, Chasity is responsible for payroll and billing, Long-Term Care insurance, CAREGiver benefits, recruitment community outreach, and CAREGiver events. Chasity loves spending time with her husband and two sons. They enjoy relaxing at the beach and are “Disney fanatics.”

Lakia Edwards, On-Call Coordinator

Lakia assists with the supervision of our organization during non-business hours. We support our staff and our clients 24/7, and if you phone the office during the evening or on the weekends, you may be greeted by Lakia’s friendly voice!

Nina Mack, On-Call Coordinator

Nina also assists during evening, weekends and holidays when the office is closed. With a pleasant demeanor, Nina happily responds and assists with client and CAREGiver needs.
