Meet Our Team

Jessie Schewe, Franchise Owner

Jessie Schewe, Franchise Owner

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about our team. I am beyond blessed to serve local seniors, employ the very best CAREGivers and to lead a successful, compassionate and hard-working team, all of which I consider family. I began working with Home Instead in 2000. What a journey it has been! I was born and raised in Estill Springs, TN. I have 3 children that are my pride and joy. I chose to work with Home Instead because I have a passion to serve and care for people. I can honestly say there is nothing I would rather be doing with my time. Our team is a group of amazing individuals who each possess several qualities that are geared towards providing the best quality care for local seniors. If you are interested in care for your loved ones or a career as a CAREGiver, you have come to the right place! We look forward to serving you!
Angie Swain, Client Care Coordinator/Billing and Payroll

Angie Swain, Client Care Coordinator-Tullahoma

I was born and raised in Tullahoma. My husband and I have 7 kids and 4 grandkids.  My hobbies include reading, traveling, and hanging out with my family. I have been a caregiver in one way or another all of my life. I was a candy striper at Harton Hospital when I was in middle school. My job responsibilities were helping the nurses with non-medical issues that a patient may need assistance with. I thoroughly enjoyed being a candy striper and caring for others. Also, growing up in the home with a single parent, I was the oldest of my siblings and had to help take care of them when my mom was at work. In 1994 I began working in the management field for a local apartment complex and that began my career into many areas including billing and payroll. I have always had a heart for helping others and there is no other company that does this better than Home Instead.  The genuine love, concern, and care this company has for the families we serve is unmatched. I look forward to coming to work each day to help my co-workers in our combined vision to change lives through servant leadership.
Key Player

Taylor Barnes, Murfreesboro Office Manager

I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. I am outnumbered in my home as I have an amazing husband, two incredible sons, and a dog named Loki, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I always joke that I was meant for the boy mom role, because I love superheroes, all things sports related, and adventures. I am a Certified Nurses Assistant and have also worked as a Medical Assistant. Most of my healthcare career has been working with seniors in many different settings. It has been my pleasure caring for them as they teach me the numerous important things that they have learned in their lifetime, and I am excited to come to work every day and work hard to keep them in their own homes with the best caregivers. I always knew I wanted to jump in an office role, because I want to advocate for other caregivers to meet their needs as well as exceed the client’s needs. From the minute I met Jessie and interviewed, I knew that Home Instead was the right place for me. To be able to learn from someone who has done it ALL in her own business, is such a blessing. This team is the absolute best around, and it feels great to show up and work together towards our goals.

Julia Bradley, General Manager

Julia Bradley, Billing and Payroll Specialist

‍My first experience working with seniors came right after high school when I cared for a handful of residents at a facility for seniors with mental disabilities. From day one I was hooked! Over the years I continued caring for seniors and felt blessed to wake up every morning excited to go to work. Now, as the Office Manager for Home Instead, I don’t take an active part in caring for our clients, but I am blessed to act as advocate for them in my behind the scenes role. This work is truly where my heart is!
Janet Dunne, Service Coordinator

Janet Dunne, Service Coordinator

I was born in Puerto Rico. I have traveled a lot in my life through the United States, because I am a military brat. I am married with children. We have 3 dogs. I love my family and my furry babies. Most of my life I have been surrounded by nurses, teachers, and military personnel. To me, they all serviced the community. I wanted to do the same. I have an aunt who is my world. She was a nun (teacher) and a nurse. She showed me what caring for others is all about. She now has Alzheimer's Disease. This is my way of honoring her.

I have been scheduling for over 9 years. From my first interview with Home Instead I knew this was the place for me. The place with the heart. I see it and feel it every day. Knowing I can schedule a wonderful CAREGiver with a client gives me peace in my heart.
