Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about our team. I am beyond blessed to serve local seniors, employ the very best Care Professionals, and to lead a successful, compassionate and hard-working team, all of which I consider family. I began working with Home Instead in 2000. What a journey it has been! I was born and raised in Estill Springs, TN. I have 3 children that are my pride and joy. I chose to work with Home Instead because I have a passion to serve and care for people. I can honestly say there is nothing I would rather be doing with my time. Our team is a group of amazing individuals who each possess several qualities that are geared towards providing the best quality care for local seniors. ​If you are interested in care for your loved ones or a career as a Care Pro, you have come to the right place! I was born in Puerto Rico. I have traveled a lot in my life through the United States, because I am a military brat. I am married with children. We have 3 dogs. I love my family and my furry babies. Most of my life I have been surrounded by nurses, teachers, and military personnel. To me, they all serviced the community. I wanted to do the same. I have an aunt who is my world. She was a nun (teacher) and a nurse. She showed me what caring for others is all about. She now has Alzheimer's Disease. This is my way of honoring her.

I have been scheduling for over 9 years. From my first interview with Home Instead I knew this was the place for me. The place with the heart. I see it and feel it every day. Knowing I can schedule a wonderful CAREGiver with a client gives me peace in my heart.

I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. When I was in the 9th grade, my father had a medical emergency and that is when I felt that I was called to the healthcare field. After graduating high school, I obtained my Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy license. Afterwards, I pursued a LPN license at Tennessee College of Applied Technology. After gaining a few years of experience, I then pursued a RN license at Motlow State Community College. I have mostly worked in long term care facilities, but I have also worked for a travel nurse agency. Shortly after obtaining my RN license, my father had open heart surgery and needed someone to take care of him. I decided to take some time off to take care of my father at home rather than placing him in a facility. My experience with taking care of my father from home is what led me to apply to Home Instead. There are so many benefits to having someone at home rather than in a facility. I experienced this firsthand with my father during his recovery. My goal as the Hiring Coordinator at Home Instead is to hire and train the best care givers for our community.
