Meet Our Team

Valerie Hymel has a nursing (LPN) background in the military and in the civilian sector; she is a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist who rejoined Home Instead after years of working in Ohio, where she recruited emergency medicine physicians. She is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Lawrenceville franchise.  Her service in the Armed Forces (199^th Support Hospital and 159^th MASH), and managing experience make her the ideal candidate for the job. She loves helping people be the best they can be, and she uses her skills in coaching and mentoring to help them shine. She is passionate about leading teams to achieve their full potential. Originally from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Marlene obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology.  She spent many years working in the field of mental health in an array of environments such as shelters, residential facilities, detention centers and even in-home settings.  Marlene loves working for Home Instead because they truly care about their staff and the clients they care for.  She embraces the company’s mission to help enhance the quality of life for aging adults and she enjoys working as a team with people who genuinely care.

Tanya is a proud mother & wife of 3 sons, a Massachusetts native. She is passionate about providing exceptional care and service, with 20+ years of experience in healthcare, administration, management, sales, and marketing. Tanya is committed to treating everyone with kindness and ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction and care.

Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Denham Springs. Holly has 5+ years working in the senior living industry. From being a Life Enrichment Coordinator to Special Care Coordinator at an assisted living community, her experience with connecting to clients and identifying their needs is great for her role here at Home Instead.  Holly is happy to join the Home Instead Team and looks forward to working with both our clients and Care Pros. As a true native of North Metro Atlanta, Sandy and her husband have 2 sons studying at the University of North GA, who they homeschooled K-12. 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Valdosta State University and has a solid background in marketing and sales among her many years of corporate experience. 

Her bright energy and passion for people, along with a love of building, connecting and nurturing relationships in the community, are what brought her to HI as its newest marketer.  

Multiple life experiences with caregiving for loved ones, including hospice for her father who battled cancer for 9 years, allow her to serve with empathy and compassion. 

Sandy enjoys singing, acting, boating, hiking, camping, fishing, scuba diving, and traveling anywhere tropical. She spends many weekends leading worship and teens at her home church in Johns Creek.

A South Florida girl at heart, Taylor moved to Buford, Georgia with her family in 2007. Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of North Georgia, which has blossomed into a rewarding career in Talent Acquisition and Recruiting. Renowned for an innovative approach to recruitment and a flair for creative strategy, she combines strategic thinking with a genuine passion for people. To Taylor, her role as Recruiting Coordinator goes beyond conventional recruitment; it’s about nurturing a community of dedicated individuals who are the heartbeat of compassionate care for our clients.

Aside from her professional pursuits, Taylor’s passion for reading books and writing fuels her creativity and she hopes to write her first book someday soon. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as her four adorable kitty cats! Her love for music festivals is a testament to her vibrant spirit, and she tries to go to at least two a year.

Jane has served as the Finance Manager for Home Instead Senior Care since 2010. With more than 20 years’ experience in the finance field, she enjoys utilizing her business knowledge to foster great relationships between families and the office team. Jane recognizes the importance of the service Home Instead provides to our clients and loves that every day we make a difference in people’s lives. Kelee has worked for Home Instead for more than 5 years, offers extensive knowledge of senior care in addition to her passion and caring for seniors and their families.  Her experience, enthusiasm and winning personality is perfect for connecting with the community and referral sources.  She is an expert in developing relationships to further promote the services offered by Home Instead.  Kelee was recently promoted to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and provides marketing leadership and guidance to her team which helps lead us to success.  You may reach Kelee directly at kelee.king@homeinsteadla.net.
